I have two RTX 2070 Super graphics cards, but they are very different. One is 2 slots wide and the other is 3 slots wide. First of all, what is the difference? Second, how do I NVLink SLI Bridge them together? I've seen 4 slot bridges, is there something that will work for me? Also, I have a 700W power supply. Is that strong enough? Thank you very much for your help.

We need to know the slot spacing between the GPU's to know which bridge to use.  Unless you tell us the model number of the GPU's, we'd be guessing on the difference.

The difference  is the type of GPU cooling that the cards have..It depends on your particular motherboard as to what the SLI slot spacing is and how long the bridge needs to be..Every 20mm (20.32mm to be exact) is counted as a slot space per PCI-SIG specs whether there's actually a slot there or not.

Need to know exactly what motherboard you have to determine that.

Use the OuterVision Power Supply Calculator to get an estimate of your recommended system wattage need to see if 700W is enough.

A three slot card will be thicker than a 2 slot card, so if you sli them put the three slot on the bottom for best airflow.

My original is a 08G-P4-3172-KR. Unfortunately, the one I got yesterday says the same exact thing on the label on the back. My original is 1 1/2" thick, and the new-to-me one is 2 1/8" thick. Serial # on original is 20125372809034, new-to-me 1914133175000323.

My motherboard is an ASUS ROG Crosshair VII Hero.

Yes, the 3-slot is the bottom one.

Oh dear. My 65 year old eyes are making things look the same when looking at tiny print. My original Part # is 08G-P4-3172-KR. The new-to-me is Part # 08G-P4-3175-KR. My 22 year old roommate told me the difference between the two numbers. LOL.

More update. I tried running the new-to-me card while plugged in at the bottom. It wouldn't run. I took out my original card (in the top slot) and replace it with the new-to-me and it works perfectly. I've got power cables coming to have power to both, but currently only have power for one at a time.

The distance between the PCIE X16_1 and PCIE X16_2 slots that you need to use for SLI on an ASUS ROG Crosshair VII Hero is 60mm, so you need a 60mm SLI/NVLink bridge, or use the SLI HB Bridge that came with the accessories included in you mobo box.

See Forum Post #6 here for examples of bridges.

See 'Expansion slots' in the Specifications section of your Mobo Manual..NVIDIA SLI will only function when PCIE slots run in at least X8 Mode.

    Will this one work?
    NVIDIA Part Number: 900-14932-2500-000
It's for 2080s, will it be okay for 2070s?
