SC15 Laptop Parts Sourcing Request

Hey all,

I purchased an SC15 back in 2018 and like many users I am having issues with sourcing parts. The laptop has been fine for the most part but most recently I've noticed that the battery has started swelling. After a brief search it seems like I can pull the battery out and just run it tethered to the power supply. The swelling is so bad it has pushed the chassis up and some of my keys are now "sunk" into the surface.

Another issue I'm having is sourcing a replacement keyboard. Some of my keys have rubbed off and I would like to replace them if possible. I have found a few threads but all threads have been dead leads. I've only seen posts for the SC17 keyboard but nothing for the SC15.

To summarize if someone could point me in the direction of finding
 
  • SC15 replacement battery
  • SC15 replacement keyboard
I would really appreciate it. I've contacted support but it looks like they could care less about supporting this laptop any longer

    If you are comfortable opening it up (and the warranty is already void.
    There should be a part number on the battery.
    From there a google search should give you 3rd party replacements.
