Excellent job. I must say I am jealous. Been wanting to get myself one of those Corsair cases but funds been tight. That will probably be my next purchase if I can make some money. Maybe not the Obsidian series but definitely one that has a black back and some rubber grommets for the cables management holes.

Great work +1d.

Also you know you can order Corsair HX Series single sleeved cables from corsair and performancepcs for around 50 shipped right? With these cables you can attach them directly to your psu instead of having massive amounts of cables behind your mobo tray using the extensions.

HeThing

Looks great to me :D

You can also try mounting your SSDs on the back.
You can see how I did here:

That's not a bad idea - I'd definitely have to get the 'straight' SATA cables for that, the bent version is...it sticks up pretty far.

Maybe you could swap out the stock fans for the Corsair Air Series 140 AF's and 120 SP's, they're really good fans and the custom blue rings may fit your color scheme.
[edit] unless you're happy with the stock fans.

Hmmm...I do have a few fans around from a previous build.  Maybe some of them run quieter at the higher speeds...I dunno, these do run okay volume at the 'low' setting, just seems like maybe it'd be nice to get some more kick out of them.

I do actually have some 38mm fans, too...hrmmm...may be worth playing around with this, some.  It's pretty easy, with the current arrangement, to pull the radiator components out and re-attach things.

How many sata cables would you need? I have some red ones I could probably hook you up with.

I didn't actually find the amount of cables behind the mobo tray to be THAT excessive.  The extensions certainly added some length, but there was enough room it wasn't that much of an issue.  More of a problem, really, were the 'extra' molex connectors along any of the power lines from the PSU - the 4-pin or SATA power connectors I wasn't using.  They just don't...lay...flat being in the middle of the cable as they are.

Those were definitely the biggest problem, but once I started tying the cables in the back down with zip ties, it made organizing the whole thing a lot quicker.  (It's still a mess on the back, but at least a mess I can trace the cabling throughout)

I think the biggest surprise for me, with the new build, was that I expected the modular PSU to clean up the cabling some, but...in fact it was the exact opposite.  With a standard PSU, ALL the cables come out of it in one huge clump right by the mobo tray...a huge mass, but easy to route into the back-panel area.

With the modular PSU, every individual power line has its own connection into the back of it, which means you have a TON more visible cables, there.

Really can't say I'm a fan of that.

Finally ran some benchmarks on it, and got my Mods Rigs link updated with the new build!
(That's with CPU overclocked to my 24/7 stable 4.5ghz, with stock 680 Sig 2 speeds)
