@willem445 - Well some people are all crazy with overclocking and others really don't care.  I know this is kinda stupid to discuss, so I'll just end it here.
OT - It has been mentioned many times now; people have different standards, so making such a thread will give you ratings from 2/10 to 9/10, depending on the indivuduals users so called "standards".
You could make an "NRD" (New Rig Day) thread, showing off your system and let people comment, give advices ect. :)

Yes I agree but mostly everybody on a computer forum do some form of overclocking so here that's very standard. For the normal user overclocking Is rarely done. That's why I deducted for it, on these forums overclocking is very standard.

If you really want a true food rating of your rig, get some benchmarks and post them in comparison threads. That will show the true non bias rating of your rig.

Well since my previous replies were deleted for giving my personal opinion :

OP You have a 10/10 system, Top of the line!

High settings on EVERY GAME WOAH that is awesome, I wish I could do that. Woo look at that CPU amazing, Do you fold? You should, Why have such a beast processor and not give back to the community?

Might want to get a smaller monitor though 20" is way too big, Might cause your eyes some damage, Try getting a 1280x720 max res monitor, Will help your eyes a bit =D.

video card? Runs everything on high does what it needs to do, Also top of the line card in todays standards.

But hey at least you have 8GB of RAM right?

750-watt PSU, I think this is why you can run every game on high, This is the most awesome part, It's like a cars supercharger... It's so powerful that it's making your system run 2x the potential it had in the first place!

Overall 10/10 would rate again

Not sure why your previous posts were deleted.  Didn't seem out of line to me, just honest...which is what he asked for.

There's a big issue with the entire thread. You ask where your PC is by "Todays standards" but whose standards?

If you ask someone whom just bought a brand new <$1000 PC then your PC is going to be a 4-6/10 hands down, you compare it to mine then your PC is now 2/10, you compare it to the guy above me and its not even on the scale. However you compare it to a $500 pc and it's prolly at abou 8-9/10

The truth is until you set a standard you can't really know. Was your computer meant to be a bleeding edge? because if so like many other technologies you are way behind, however if you're casual (which your pc would be casual) then you're fine. In the end all that matters is if your pc plays your games and runs your programs at YOUR standards :]

Well said shinro!

my opinion
11/10 gaming/overkill pc = 3770k/3930k etc, 8gb+ ram, gtx 670/680 sli
10/10 gaming pc = i5 3570k, 8gb ram, gtx 680
9/10 gaming pc = 2500k/3570k, 8 gb ram, gtx 660ti/670
you pc in my opinion falls 6-6.5/10

ok first off really? I think your math is a little off my man.
1. why in the world would i need a 680 to play games with a 20' lcd?
2. 680 is over kill for most games these days.
4. all my games I play on high and get 56-60fps.
5. CPU is not as fast as a i5 but look at my fps does it really matter? Look at cpu in win 7 gives a a rating of 7.5 so? hmm?
I think your a little off.

in my opinion, No im dead on. if you dont want peoples opinion, dont ask.

Everyone knows that his rig should fall in the 11/10 range. That phenom just pumps out the exact same frames as the 2770k, same with the 560 vs. 670 in sli. That 720p quality is just phenomenal, i wish i  could game at that quality too. And man that 7.5 experience rating, boy i wish i could compete with that but unfortunately I only use benchmarks like 3d mark. Im going to have to uninstall my benchmarks and run that experience thing, thats obviously where it is at nowdays. duh. mcmada you are just completely off with your opinion, im ashamed that you are even in the pc gaming scene, you obviously dont know anything about anything.

Any further sarcastic replies for his rig will be deleted. Stick to the subject of the OP. I am also getting a lot of complaints about some of the replies here. It would be a pity if we have to lock this thread.
