Kind of curious really as it looks like there are three separate power input circuits with each one using two pins. Seems like the current still has the potential to be out of balance and potentially run into superficial limits from an imbalance.

Have you seen a good screenshot of GPUZ or HWINFO that shows all of the power readings? That might give us an idea of how power input works.

This is bizarre. The MSI card still shows 3x8pin, although pretty much equal in power.

Maybe some of the old design was carried over.

Is there any reason why you have rebar disabled?

- Ensure all background process not necessary are disabled, including all CPU / GPU monitoring software.
- Disable Rebar in BIOS and force "on" with nv inspecto
- Disable Gsync
- nvcp set "max performance" / Windows set CPU to Max Perfomance
- OC your GPU to max (push the Memory as high as possible watching for diminishing returns)
- OC your CPU as high as possible
- Ensure Memory running as high as possible
- do your first run with pc "cold" (first thing in the AM).

The above should yield you a significant jump in your score.

Did you actually force reBar with Nvidia Profile Inspector? That's the way to get a decent bump in score.

Running TS I was amazed at the performance bump of the CPU portion w 12900k vs older 9900k!!

$1 per point .....3080Ti 15K n 3090Ti 16K ...price difference between the 2 Cards equals $1 per point (PR) ;)

Interested to see if the EVGA cards are the same. It wouldn't surprise me though as you can see the input power planes on the techpowerup review and the 12 pin gets divided into three sets of pins and each set has it's own shunt. Three separate current measurements likely happen, just depends on how they report it.

I tried to trace out which power stages went to which connector on my 3080Ti. Don't remember specifically which ones went where, but it seemed pretty clear the third connector just went to the extra stages that were added for the FTW cards. Plugs 1/2 powered like 8/9 stages then the third connector powered like 5. Curious to see if they did something similar or if they balanced things out better.

Haha approximately

I’m gonna send it this weekend. Refilled the dewar this afternoon and pot is mounted and rtg. Will run the lowly 3090 KP HC and see if I can hang with these Ti guys! Will it blend

I think my wife would lose her mind if I had a big ole LN2 bottle delivered and wheeled into my workshop ....she would certainly be ****?!
Funny enough the look on her face when she sees multiple computers set up and running on my benches (with no cases)....how many computers do you need, as many as I can fit on this bench!!!

I'm having trouble finding benchmarks for the Black. Can anyone run some or point me in the right direction? Thanks!
