i own the FTW 3080 TI non hybrid and i wanna buy the hybrid kit.
is EVGA Precision X1 will recognize the upgrade? if not flash bios will help?

ok maybe will consider to not upgrade if it will not give me a overclocking benefits

I just did this conversion and yes, it's nicer to have the BIOs for the right fan profile. EVGA released the BIOs for the 3080 and 3090 when the kit came out. I e-mailed them about doing the same for the 3080 Ti, and they're working on it. E-mail 3090OC@EVGA.com to push them to hurry it up.

There is nothing to recognize. It is just a cooler. Nor is there any need to reflash the bios with the Hybrid cooler. They are the exact same cards, just using different coolers.

False, the fan profiles are different as well as the RGB. To get full and correct control, you want to get the right BIOs for it.

It's not meant to give overclocking benefits. It's meant to give better cooling to the GPU and VRAM. If it helps with overclocking, that is an ancillary benefit. I have the Hybrid kit on my 3080 FTW3 Ultra, and my GPU and VRAM temps are much more manageable with gaming. Was hitting 65C on GPU and 90C on VRAM previous to the cooler. Now I hit 45C and 75-80C depending on the game. 

False again. A cooler card gets "boost bins" from GPU boost 4.0. You can see as temperature rises, you lose clock speeds. Here once temperatures shoot up to 55-65, click speeds begin to drop. They drop from 1950 MHz to 1860 MHz, so cooling a card down in itself is allowing the auto OC algorithm to give you better clock speeds. 

And I can attest to testing my card, I was able to manually add an extra 15 MHz cooling my card down. I was only able to bench it at 180 MHz when it warmed up, the hybrid let me do 195 MHz.

should i replace the oc bios also?

Well if you're going to manually flash like I had to, it is the "normal" bios. There isn't a OC one yet, but if you're setting a custom fan profile it's not going to matter. It won't change your performance. 
 
But again, there is no 3080 Ti one out yet officially from EVGA, we're going to have to wait. Please e-mail 3090OC@EVGA.com to ask them to write the BIOs updater if you want to go this route, or do it manually like I had to.

Yea they already have it. Sold on the hybrid version. They probably don't have it packaged and tested for PX1 to install or one of the standalone installers they handed out for reBar updates. They likely don't want to hand out rom files and try to support people using NVFlash.
