I have a CPU AIO 360 Rad exhausting on the top right now. I am fairly close on the 3080TI Hybrid queue and wanted to get ahead and figure our how best to install it in the 011D. I want to be able to see all the fans as its a fully visible case. Does the following work?:

1. CPU - TOP -> fans (exhausting) -> 360 RAD
2. GPU - SIDE -> fans (intake) -> 240 RAD, plus 1 SL120 fan (daisy chained)

I am afraid the GPU side of things will be bringing in hot air. BOTH will be overclocked.

Thanks

    Swap to CPU side and GPU top and make sure your 3 top fans are in push/pull for the Hybrid's AIO. See my build here:

    If you don't install the GPU vertically like what Emewt42 did, the tubes and the 3 pcie cables might push against the side glass panel.  I had the O11D Air (same dimensions as O11D), and I encountered this problem with the 3090 hybrid.  I was able to put the side glass panel, but I needed to put some pressure in order to slide the panel in.  The tubes where bent too much for my liking and I ended up buying the O11D XL.  I could not install the GPU vertically because I have a pcie sound card.

    Where did you find the vertical mount kit for your o11d? I haven't been able to find one.
     I found the part number "O11D-1" but can't seem to find it in stock :/

    I cant imagine a row of fans, a rad and then more fans fitting on the top. This is in the non-XL?

    I'll add that you should stick to exhaust for side due to no dust filter. Intake bottom exhaust side top is my suggestion.

    Case comes with multiple dust filters that are magnetic and stick to any surface you put them on. I have them on my side panel for my PSU and one of my 360mm radiators.

    O11D standard or XL?

    Regardless, based on the design of the case yes you will be able to see all fans no matter the configuration you decide to go with.

    I have an O11D XL and use the side as intake for my Kingpin 360 radiator, better GPU temps that way (constant source of cool, fresh air). Case temp is warmer than it would be otherwise but everything is still perfectly acceptable; CPU ranges 50-60c & mobo mosfets, chipset, mainboard, dimm's etc all show max temps in the mid-30's after 4+ hour gaming sessions (and this is at 4K, pulling 500 watts).

    If I didn't have the 3 bottom fans for intake as well, it might be a different story.

    I did 3 intake into CPU AIO on side, 3 intake on bottom under GPU, 3 exhaust up top with GPU in push/pull to vent up top. GPU games at 55c tops and I've yet to see my 3080Ti Hybrid downclock from the factory 1950 boost and CPU runs at about 55-60 as well. Not saying degenerate's config is incorrect - just what I gathered was the optimal airflow/setup for the o11 based on this youtube video:

    Thanks for all the input. Ill try a few configurations based on the feedback here. I dont think the overclocked 3900x will get as hot as the GPU as the wattage difference will be 200+ watts between the CPU and GPU. The CPU is already cooled via a 360 top exhaust.

    Side intake for the GPU with an additional fan for intake is the easiest to do (don't have to move CPU 360). Ill try that first. Wondering if I can put the rad on the outside (on the side) and the fans in a pull on the inside.

    FWIW my GPU never breaks 50c and that is while pulling 500+ watts at 4K, with no undervolting, at 2100mhz. My system is heavily OC'd as well (CPU @ 5150mhz, dimms @ 1.51v with extremely tight timings, many other voltages raised). I'd say my configuration is working pretty well (not saying you implied otherwise).

    Clocks are meaningless as it relates to heat, wattage is converted to heat which needs to be dissipated so that's what people should be looking at when evaluating cooling performance.

    I do my own testing and make conclusions based on that, not saying youtube videos aren't useful but they aren't gospel either. YMMV!

    Kinda like you said, it's also a matter of what you're using for a cooler. My card should run hotter than yours and not OC as much cause it's not a kingpin, on the same note your CPU radiator may outperform mine or you could be on liquid cooling where as i'm on a 360 AIO. I linked that video cause it's the closest/only benchmark I've seen that tests the various fan configurations. I would take that video as a means for optimal configuration cause in order to find out what promotes the best airflow/temps you have to have the same mobo/cpu/graphics card/fans/case/etc including ambient temp in the room to really say what's outperforming what.
