Just updated EVGA PX1 to 1.2.5.0 and it also updated RTX 3080 FIRMWARE to version 2.01.22. Can we get a change log for the updated firmware?

Any chance it addresses the issue with the 3rd 8 pin power connector recieving less than 1/3rd of the power of the other 2 8 pin power connectors from the power supply???
*see attached pic*

There was another exact query for this question. I have forwarded the other thread to EVGA.

I was wondering which question till I read the other thread.
Sure would be great if EVGA would give us some information explaining why the 3 power connectors aren't getting the same amount of power?
And if it can be fixed?

They may have mentioned the update but EVGA is still quiet about the Power connectors & unequal power being delivered to them

Where did you read/hear/see the power load needs to be equal amongst the connectors? Maybe the 8-pin #3 is used for supplemental power...

GPU: EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti FTW3 ULTRA HYBRID

    Spoiler
this should be on the trunk of a car

Cause its not a motherboard that needs supplemental power for pci lanes, its a gpu. No other gpu in history that Im aware of chose to use 3 power connectors and decided to
call one of them "supplemental power" using only a percentage of power of the 1st two, that being said isnt EVERY power connector after the first one "supplemental power" smh.
    Why not balance them?

Besides why the complete silence from EVGA? To my knowledge despite probably hundreds of threads and questions on social media about the subject EVGA is silent.
Do we not deserve an answer? Whether its a bigtime screwup on the power design or just supplemental power as you put it.

Lol why should it matter if it wasnt under load? If the power is unbalanced its unbalanced and besides surely you can see the running gpuz render test running in the screenshot "under load".
Is that not a big enough load for you? If you like big loads I will gladly pull out a more demanding benchmark or something for you and take another screenshot?

If you are not overclocking the card i wouldnt be worried , check total power output
There were some reports that pcie power draw was over 75 w on 3090 cards i think

What model is it whats the total power consumption
must be ftw model there is an xoc bios for it have you tried that

I am overclocking the card, I dont recall saying that its not overclocked, Yes rtx3080ftw3 ultra. My signature shows all my components.
I have not yet tried the XOC bios

I'm curious about the 8 pin #1,2 and 3.  I have a 3080 FTW3 and was reading the power delivery during stress tests and max draws were 130W, 146W and 72W respectively with another 47W from the mobo.  Total draw was 388W.
Question 1.  Do other people with XOC bios able to draw the full 450W?
Question 2. If they're able to draw 450W, is connector 3 able to draw more than 75W?  Maybe connector 3 is really just a 6 pin and not a 6+2.

Great questions but good luck getting an answer (to question 2). Regarding question 2, I dont see why they would have a fake 8 pin. My last GPU 980ti kingpin iirc had 2 x 8 pins and 1 x 6 pin power connector so
why not just do the same thing, should be as easy as looking at the pinout though I assume something else is going on & hence the deafening silence from EVGA. I have to assume its a serious design error that EVGA doesnt want to
reveal. For the money paid for just one gpu that would be a pretty serious issue that was either overlooked or known about & nobody wanted to spend the time & resources to fix, All just speculation?
