Make sure the card is fully seated! It might be held up on the i/o plate on the case.

Been checking that for 4 days already mate, card is fully clipped on the PCIe slot and screws are in also. Pushed all the way in as much as possible without damaging anything but nothing. Like I said before I don't think a card can function by half if not attached properly, fans and light switched on? Try on yours to leave one side slightly off and see if it will work.

Once a GPU is clipped on the PCIe slot it means it's fully attached, or else it wouldn't clip. That's the purpose of the clip.

Cool GTX
Or take the card to a PC shop & let them test it.

We have not eliminated your MB as the issue without testing in different slot

Graphics Cards Get power from PCIe & the External 6-pin &r 8-pin sockets ---> & Yes, you Must fully populate ALL of those sockets....

We are Volunteers, many of us have been there seen that .... we are just asking You to Do what We would if that PC was in Our Hands

Yes that has been eliminated long ago as there's plenty of spare space from the beginning to the end of the card. I passed a piece of paper through to make sure there's spare room and it's not being held by anything to get in.

If anything is wrong is the PCB of the card that is deformed and can't go in any further.

I tried to hold the card without screws and place it the best I could without any interference from the motherboard or case, nothing works.

I would like to kindly thank all of you for your support! It's been much appreciated!

Thanks a lot!

good point

was asked in Post 17 ... never got a Straight answer from OP

Yes that is very Important --> before the power is ever applied ---> those small tightly clustered contacts can Short if card is Not installed correctly

I would like to ask you why my other thread has been locked? I haven't "duplicated it" as you claimed.

I'm trying to reach people who have the same specs as mine to see if they encountered any issues and can provide a picture of their GPU physically inserted in the slot? How can that be duplicated if I can't do that in here as everyone has different specs let alone opinions that they read from the internet and think they know any physical facts?

Interesting decision.

One cant uave multipal threads with the same topic.

Thet motherboard is of the newest gen. There's no reason to suspect that there would be a compatability issue.

It's either the card or a bad motherboard. Of the board is working with another card then the card is probably bad.

If you read my first post you'd know I had a ZOTAC RTX 2080 TI AMP and had no issues with Windows or BIOS recognising it.

Yeah doesn't work. All the obvious things I have tried already. :(

Have you Reset Your CMOS or Bios Yet?
And Updated the Bios on your Motherboard?
Is CSM Disabled in the Bios? Even if you have a Device that needs Legacy Support.
Removed All other PCIe Device solely to test or Troubleshoot?
But then this sound like an ASUS issue being that the Asus Maximus XI Hero WIFI seems to have a lot of issues.

If it was a asus mb problem it would be alot cheaper I bet to get s new mb.

Though he wont know forsure unless he can test it out on another system. Find a store to test the card at.
