Hello EVGA community, first post here as I've recently decided to upgrade ram and have been scouring the web for solutions. I currently have a EVGA X58 SLI LE mobo (141-BL-E757-TR) on the following BIOS version: E75783. I'm upgrading to three 4GB G.Skill DDR3 1333 RAM (Model F3-10666cl9s-4gbrl), which is on the compatibility list for this motherboard. When trying to boot up after installation, nothing appears and I do not get to the BIOS screen. I took a look at the mobo and sees the following numbers flashing: E8 01 62 00 I made extra care in making sure the DIMMs are properly seated and that they are in the appropriate slots (1,3,5). I've also tried various combinations of using 1,2 or 3 DIMMs and were unsuccessful. Falling back to the old RAM still works. Can anyone help me determine what my issue is? Greatly appreciated. -Derrick

Yes, I've tried with using just 1 slot with the same result.

Yep, that's how mine look. You're right, they're technically in positions 2,3,6 but are labeled 1,3, and 5. I've seated them in the Grey slots (my old RAM were also 3 DIMMS so i just followed the same config).

Are you tapping like -crazy mad- on the DEL key as soon as she starts to boot, and keep it up until bios or fail.... --->XMP does not work on these old boards (you have to disable it and set the timing/voltage manually) and not tapping -fast- enough you can miss the BIOS window and the boot can fail.

I'm not, should I be? Also, is there anyway I can confirm I have the latest BIOS? I "think" I did it right but wasn't sure how to verify. MSINFO32 tells me my BIOS date is 8/25/2011, which sounds about right...

I missed the second part of your comment. Let me give it a shot. Thanks. Update: Nope, no dice getting into BIOS with that method

Which BIOs setting do I need to change? Have never messed with voltage and timings before. I've booted up using the Old RAM on the first slot and the New RAM on the second. Of course, only the old RAM is recognized by the mobo right now

OK, manually changed tCL, tRCD, tRP, tRAS and voltage. No dice. Oh well, gave it my best shot. Nonetheless, truly appreciate the fantastic support. Was honestly not expecting it given how old the hardware is. Thank you all!
