Hello, I bought new RAM, corsair RGB 3000Mhz quad channel. I installed them in my new machine. I activate the profile xmp 1, But the problem is that the value goes up to 2400 Mhz, If I change manually to 3200, The BLCK rises to 125, So I would like your advice how to put my ram at 3000Mhz, If I have to overclock my CPU, I have a good cooler, Kraken X62, thanks for your help ;) Sorry about my english, I'm doing my best, it's not my native language

Welcome to the forums...
When you set the Memory profile to XMP 1, does it show 3200 as the memory frequency in the box/field right below the XMP profile field? If not, try setting the profile to XMP profile and set the memory freq manually to 3200. Then reboot back into the BIOS.
If the memory settings look good at that point, go to the "Overclock" section and verify your BCLK Frequency is at 100. If it's not, manually change it to 100. Also verify your CPU Multiplier Control setting is set to "Auto" if you're not overclocking yet. Then reboot back to the BIOS and verify your settings all look good. Memory & Bclk settings. If so, boot to Windows and check things out...

Hello Bdary, Thank you for your answer. So I try, it puts me in 3000Mhz, but the BLCK automatically changes to 125. If I reset the BLCK to 100. My RAM goes back to 2400

Ok, it looks like your ram is rated at 3000, not 3200 based on what I see in your 2nd pic for xmp 1. That is why you're having this issue. Any speed over 2666 and under 3200 will change the bclk to 125 which won't work well if at all. My advice would be to set your memory profile to xmp 1 and set your memory frequency to 2666 or 2667. Then you won't have this bclk issue. You could also try OC'ing the memory manually to 3200, but that would be a bit more involved. Timings may need to be loosened and possibly some voltage bumps. EDIT: If your ram is recently purchased, you may be able to send it back and get a set of memory rated for 3200 instead of 3000. That would eliminate the bclk issue as well.

I made a mistake, it's 3000Mhz and not 3200Mhz, I can't return them to the store:/, I tested your solution the bclk always remains at 125, So now the only solution would be an overclock via the BLCK? I'm not very comfortable with the overclock, I've never done that.

If you manully set the "Memory Frequency" to 2666, you'll be able to set your bclk to 100. Most members that have tried using the 125 blck could not make it work on the X99 board.

I can go up to 2667Mhz with a BLCK 100, I'll leave it at 2667. Maybe later I'll overclocked to get to 3000  Thank you very much for your help

That is always a good place to start - Mfg setting for that speed I would not be surprised if you have to loosen those setting for stability, as the Mfg do a good job of Binning their RAM product to squeeze max profit from production

If the OP is around, recent BIOS updates added memory dividers and fixed the issue with the Bclk changing when using XMP. I wonder if the OP has updated his BIOS?

My 3200MHz kit runs at full speed with BCLK at 100 on my X99 Micro2 with the XMP profile. I'm thinking there may not be a proper 3000MHz profile setting. I'll have to check it out when I get home.

My RAM's xmp profile also alters my backclock to approx. 125. (latest BIOS) I run it with a multiplier that yields approx 4.4ghz. Despite all the people who say don't increase the backclock, I have never had a stability issue with this configuration. Maybe manually increasing it versus the xmp profile increasing it gives different results. If you don't like what the xmp profile does, you could always jot down the memory timings and such and simply not use the xmp profile and input the timings manually I guess. If it's stable, I wouldn't worry about it. 5930k btw
