I recently received a 2070 super black edition. It came attached to a water block and I wanted to attach the stock cooler. Someone helped me do it and he didn't put all of the thermal pads back in on the baseplate. I'm not exactly sure which ones, but there were a few he said were extra. I'm wondering how vital these thermal pads are and if anyone has a diagram of which ones are supposed to be on there. The card runs great. Thermals seem totally normal. I just don't want to hurt something if I run it without the proper thermal protection.

I'd install all stock thermal pads ..... EVGA installed them for a reason .... keep components cooler = longer life

Thanks for your help! The super is a little different than the regular 2070 I believe. I've watched a few years downs and I think the component placement is different.
