I tried to use DP and I can only get 60 hz, but with hdmi I get 144 hz. Am I doing something wrong? Also which of the three DP ports is number 1? Thanks in advance. Oh, I am using 516.59 Nvidia driver release. And in Nvidia Control Panel native 1920x1080 is max'd at 60 hz, but in windows 10 the setting is 120.

What monitor are you using? Make and model. You may have a setting in the monitors settings that dictates the refresh rate depending on the monitor. Check that out. Is your DP cable certified?

Monitor settings are correct. Vesa certified DP cable? - I think so, nothing is written on it. Asus VG279QR When using an HDMI cable all is perfect in Windows 10 and the Nvidia Control Panel. I ordered two DP 1.4a cables from Amazon. Thanks all for replying.

Are you doing this under UHD, HD, SD and not under PC? There should be the ability to scroll down to select PC mode under Change Resolution

This one got me for a few minutes. Nvidia set up my LG C1 as 4k UHD... Yep... limits you to 60hz vice native 120hz using PC mode.

Yes I can choose 120 under PC. But that isn't Native mode, right?

The two new DP 1.4a cables solved my problem. Now both monitors can display different information and both run as high as 144 htz. Thanks for helping.

Awesome. This seems to be the majority of the problem people run into, old cables that aren't the correct spec
