Changing to the updated sku did not reduce the sheer quantity of users who had signed up for the GPU.

I suggest looking at the threads that are tracking progress through the queues.

What would you like eVGA to do? They don't control the fab facility...they don't supply the chips themselves.
 
They can only do with what they're supplied by NVidia.

I didn't expect the the reduction, although 10 months later; my queue should have been meet.  I got, another notification for another 3xxx card, earlier; although I had to pass on it.

If you would like to revisit the decision to pass on that card, reply to the invite to purchase for that card (it should have come from ordernotify@evga.com).  In the reply, indicate your desire to purchase the card.  EVGA may do you a solid and get you sorted for a new invite with a new link to buy that card.  Best of luck!

It depends on how many hours ago you got the invite email.  In the past EVGA has made allowances for work, family situations, etc.  This is at the sole discretion of EVGA.
 
However, you did state above that you passed on the invite notification, so unfortunately, I wouldn't get my hopes up.

They do however control how much GPUs they send to EU retailers that sell at prescalped prices vs their EU queues ...

But one of the arguments of NVIDIA and partner card makers  is that the problem is unprecedented demand, and that they already made and sold more Ampere cards than any other generation.
This tells me that they already fulfilled those contracts unless the stores made contracts with much higher volume before they knew they will be able to sell them to begin with?
 
But I'm not mad or angry at EVGA for this, since they are the only ones that even sell directly to consumers and not via stores. Even Founders editions aren't really sold in the EU - they are only sold in a few specific countries for whatever reason. It would be similar if you could only get them if you are from California, New York and Texas if you are from US for example. The smaller / poorer states can go and F themselves heh.

It's as though ever since the emails sent out that non-LHR cards are going to switch to LHR cards, the queue grinded to a halt. After almost a year I still don't have access to the 3070 at the price issued in December of 2020.
