Installed my Corsair H50. Cut the hole in the front of the case and Im using the push/pull fan setup. I had to cut a little plastic of the front bezel, but not much at all. After I cut the bezel the radiator and fans slipped right in there like it was designed for it. The sleeved wire you see along side the fan is the bottom fan wire I will be using for the CPU fan. Also three fans mounted on bottom grill. More to come............

Hole I cut for Corsair H50, fans and radiator....and a pic of the bottom fan alone mounted.

I would go with that mobo but would seem a waste considering I plan on a single GTX 470 setup with a AM3 Series build.

Re:Work In Progress "Project Paragon" *Reassembly and back panel 6/15/10* 2010/06/15 10:22:46 (permalink)
I have reassembled the tower and mounted my custom back panel. Since my mod makes the back I/O plate of the stock tower useless, I cut it out along with everything else back there. I had to make a few "adjustments" from my original plan because I was having an issue of wire placement and routing. I finally came up with this setup and I think its gonna work out great. I had these Data Pro plates made and offset them from the tower so the wires and connectors would fit by the motherboard tray. More to come......

I would say go for it then you could SLI later if ya want -but- SLI isnt supported on this board......however.......the extreme version is coming out soon with the Hybrid chip....

Ok, i'm gonna let the cat out of the bag! That secret picture in the beginning was a Danger Den Water Box Plus Case. This whole project started when I saw the Silverstone Raven 2 case and just LOVED the M.B tray being turned 90 degrees....just made sense to suck cool air from the bottom and exhaust warm out the top. I was just going to buy that case but I could not sell my Cosmos S.........and so the wheels started to turn. I originally was going to cut the M.B tray(i/o panel and all) completely out and turn it 90 degrees, then I saw the Danger Den case and loved the acrylic pieces and that I would not have to cut the whole M.B tray out of the Cosmos S. Don't know if anyone has tried this yet with any other projects(if you know of any please let me know), but I think its turning out pretty well. I did have to make some "adjustments" to my final design, but all in all its coming together nicely. Here are some pics so you can see exactly what i'm doing........more to come

How did you manage to get the DD mobo tray to fit the cosmos m8 as that looks cool.
