Hi marti123.......Pics are coming, I had to reorder everything now that its gonna be a ATI system. Wait, why would you have to reorder everything now that it's going to be an ATI system? Good question.........I had to get a new motherboard to support CrossfireX, RAM because I wanted it to match the motherboards color scheme, CPU upgrade "my choice", and I had ordered green connectors and sleeving because I was going to get 3 GTX 480's and I cant have green connectors and sleeving with an ATI system. I also had purchased green sata III cables and green PCI thumbscrews so I had to reorder those as well........

Tsumi Dang, looking very nice so far. Why do you need that much power though? I was going to get 3 GTX 480's and my HX1000 wouldn't be enough. Found that TX750W on the forums(unopened) for a very good deal and jumped on it. My HX1000 can probably handle the 5970's just fine, but oh well.....whats done is done. In the words of Tim Allen "MORE POWER!"

Re:Work In Progress "Project Paragon" **UPDATE - POST #70**
2010/05/17 23:19:13

As I stated in post #48, my Grandpa bought me (2) ASUS 5970's for my b-day....well get this. **Warning about Superbiiz(ewiz.com)** My Grandpa went to ASUS's website to find "where to buy" stores so everything would be legit. Superbiiz was listed so he called them and they said they had (2) in stock. He asked the sales rep. to verify that they did have them and to please check with the warehouse....and they called him back and said YES they are here. So he placed the order.....verified with recept and e-mail.....went to his bank got a cashiers check (because he doesn't like to use credit cards....LOL) and sent it on its way. He placed the the order on the 6th, sent the check out the same day *certified mail* and they received it Mon. the 10th. The check was cashed and cleared Wed. morning by their bank. So...Wed goes by.....Thurs. goes by and Fri. the 14th my Grandpa calls them and says he wants to know what is going on with his order because he hasn't heard a thing......they proceed to tell my Grandpa that those cards are no longer in stock and would he like something else UNREAL!!!! So after G-pa gives them a "what for" he said just send me a check...you just lost a customer. So my G-pa looked online and called just about everyone that carries ASUS 5970's and they cannot be found. Special order only 2-3 weeks wait. So he purchased (2) XFX 5970's from mwave and they will be here 2morrow. Not good ewiz.com......not good. Nice way to sell someones products right out from under them. I don't know why ASUS 5970's are so hard to come by, but all is ok now. XFX is a good company. More to come.................

My 5970's came today so its a happy day!!! I pretty much have everything now for the build....I was stalled until my cards came because I needed exact measurements for cables etc. So let the work commence and I will most likely be revealing my "secret" of the mod hopefully within a week or so. Here are PICS and a list of my hardware(new stuff is in bold text):::::: Crosshair IV, AMD X6 1090T, 8GB Corsair Dominator GT, Muskin 128 GB SSD, W.D V.R 300GB, W.D V.R 150GB, W.D 1TB Black, EVGA 9800GT S.C(Physx), (2) XFX 5970 B.E, Corsair HX1000, Corsair TX750, Logitech Illuminated K.B, M.S Sidewinder Mouse...............more to come

I find it pretty interesting that they had no problem cashing your Grandfather's check but did not even bother to call him to tell him what was going on; crooks I say. Those parts just chilling there are looking mighty fine.

Those parts just chilling there are looking mighty fine. Hey Clergy......no, they didn't have a problem cashing the check did they..........what REALLY gets me is my G-pa placed the order and received a electronic receipt and confirmation via e-mail(in my eyes that is securing those items in your cart). Am I wrong there? And then they go and sell BOTH of them to someone else out from under us.....****? Needless to say ewiz.com has lost my G-pa and me as customers because that is just POOR customer service. Im still trying to wrap that whole ordeal around my head...

I know its been awhile since my last post but I had two situations come up. I had to do some modification on the back panel of my tower because the wires were to long and wouldn't fit in the space I was going to put them into(measure twice, cut once right?LOL!!!) So very soon I will be revealing everything about this mod.............stay tuned

Dang, very nice. Now that's giving me ideas for my Cosmos 1000 case =D Never did like how badly supported graphics cards usually are, especially when you have them watercooled and they don't have the stock cooler helping to support them. Easily removable side panel of the case doesn't hurt when connecting wires either. Now, I wonder if this is possible to do in a watercooled case... shouldn't be too difficult, I imagine =D
