Just got 3090 ftw3 ultra and it has the red lips. Doesn't bother me much but if they release a kit to change it I'll get it.
Ordered from EVGA.com on Nov 16.

I hope they send out a cover kit or something soon. I've been thinking of trying to get some vinyl wrap to cover it, but it might be difficult with how everything is shaped.

I had someone on reddit 3D print a little pop over cover for my XC3. Issue solved.
I imagine this might be what EVGA does too, just send out a cover that pops over the red accents.

The marker wouldn't work, it doesn't apply to plastic. lol I haven't tried this...>.> I just know from trying to blackout other parts before. You could get a paint pen, though. Or Black fingernail polish.

Yeah, they already emailed me back with a PDF that gives detailed instructions on how to swap out the parts. That's really cool of them, honestly. I would have been perfectly fine with just some vinyl decals or something that fit on top of the red parts. lol

This is what I always refer to it as: The Taylor Swift Lipstick GPU. Noooooooo! lol Seriously though, are there some 3D printed covering that would just sit on top/over the red parts or something? I doubt they're sending out new shrouds, and I'd rather not send in my GPU for a few weeks just for the accent color.

You have to unscrew a few things and plug in the RGB lightbar, but it's super simple. Took me maybe 10 minutes.

You just unscrew a number of screws and unplug the light bar, then swap it out, redo the screws, and plug the light bar back in.
