Recently updated Precision and it's started to cause multiple games to crash upon being open for only a few minutes. Close Precision, no crashes, open it the game will crash after a few minutes.

Disabled, both have been done.
 
Games it happens to within minutes are WoW/Heroes of the Storm

So I'm an "MMO'r"... Every game that I play these days crashes if any part of Precision X is active.
TESO, GW2, Wildstar, Rift, SWTOR, Age of Conan and TSW.
Fresh install of Win 10 Pro, no other OSD or monitoring apps running and using the latest Precision X.
The issue also extends to any voip software (and yes overlay is disabled in TS or mumble) and my "SRS" monitor speaker control panel.
I hope to see a fix soon... I prefer EVGA over MSI :)
 

For those experiencing crashing can you try the version 5.3.7 just released today?

Same issue here, osd off or on.  battlefield 4 crashes.   my zune music player software crashes after about 1 minute of opening everytime.  once i turn off evga precision x, zune stays running no problem.  
precision x has also caused my cursor to disappear in starcraft 2.
another issue, osd keeps turning it self on which is really annoying.  i'll turn it off and a few minutes later it will be on again

Upgraded to GTX 960 today and getting constant crashes on programs when running precision X

Have GTX 960 here, Win 10, 64 bit.
Had Nvidia Driver 353.xx. Can't remember atm.
2 days ago played Heroes of the Storm, SC2 just fine. Last night decided to get EVGA Precision X. Installed this version: EVGA_PrecisionX_16_Setup_v5.3.7
SC2 and Heroes would crash once the game started, I'd rejoin a game in Heroes and a few seconds later it would crash.
 
This morning upgraded Nvidia Driver to 355.60. Still had those crashes, checked Windows updates, everything was up to date.
Finally uninstalled EVGA Precision, now SC2 and Heroes don't crash at all.
 
~Edit. Wanted to add I turned my game settings down to LOW on everything while testing to see if that helped. It still crashed. Now everything's back up to Ultra/Extreme and it works fine.

Diablo 3 game crashes as well.  Upon install 5.3.7, additional Directx stuff was installed.  Nvidia control panel crashed once.  I set Blizzard Battlenet Launcher and Diablo 3 shortcuts to admin / Win8 compatible.  Set Precision shortcut to admin / Win8 compatible.  Would always lose mouse cursor within a few minutes.  Diablo 3 always crashed within 5plus minutes.   Tested multiple times.   After observing that Directx addon installed, is there a way to hide precision x overlay? Blizzard recommends against using Precision.  Mumble voice chat overlay causes zero issues with D3 though.  Is there a way to turn off / on the overlay or to install perhaps a lite version of precision with less features?
 
5.3.7 installed.  Win10Pro x64 upgraded from Win8Pro.  Intel g3258 3.2ghz, msi z97-g55sli motherboard, 8gb ram, evga 560ti. Not overclocked.
 
Uninstalled 5.3.7.  Opened Nvidia control panel window.  Ran multiple Diablo 3 games without any crashes.  Problem is with Precision compatibility -- not games and not Nvidia CP.

Same issue. Crashes on Star Conflict, Stronghold Kingdoms etc.
 
Any chance we can get a link to an older working version till all these problems are fixed?

Farcry 4 is crashing at the " Press Any Key To Continue" loading screen when Precision X is on. When I close Precision X it loads fine but the problem is the fan profile does not load when Precision X is not running and the temps go up to 90+ C. 
 
So as a workaround I start the game and then start Precision X, until it is fixed in future versions.

I only noticed this problem with Farcry 4. Witcher 3 is running fine, with OSD as well.

5.3.5 not stable for me. Still crashing with "Courier Font" error in CSGO. Still crashing in PoE.

I always SAVE ( 100% FAN ) and EXIT ( close ) .

Precision X only causes the game to crash during loading. When you start the Precision X after it loads , it works fine. But I am still getting crashes " Display Driver Stopped Working ", I've done a little research and it seems it's driver issue. when the Nvidia GameWorks options are enabled " such as Fur, enhanced Godrays, TXAA " the game will crash. This issue has been there for quite some time now. So either wait for a driver that works, or disable Nvidia GameWorks :/ Bummer !!! The game looks fantastic with Nvidia GameWorks ...

My problem started as soon a I upgraded to Windows 10 and "some" Steam games when I exited my desktop went to one solid color. all i could highlight was the windows icon which was fully functional. No task bar or quick launch icons. Switch to start screen and things were normal. The only cure was to either logout or reboot.
 
A format later and I dropped down to Windows 8.1 and the same thing happened. No warning that explorer crashed, just the solid color. Another format and this time I did not install the latest Precision X and things were perfect. Reluctantly I installed an older version (4.2.1) and everything has veen back to the way it should be. Sp,ething with the past couple of updates hosed my desktop.
