Lowering the car gets rid of the poke in your case as you acrue more negative camber. Doesn't seem as tho you got much low from those tein springs, htechs?

1.5" F and 1.5" R drop. The rear wheels stick out a 1/2" at certain angles b/c the way the fenders flare. It is annoying a bit. Rolling the fenders could help to an extent. I should have gone with 19"x10.5" rear but these only came in 19"x11" rear. I will not be running any negative camber. I am not about stance. I hate it. I'd rather the wheels stick out and have full contact of the rubber to the pavement vs going stance and no poke.

I am not about stance either, however, I can tell you that some negative camber is helpful. I am not talking about 5 degrees or your car looking like a hoverboat but about -2 degrees help a ton in handling. Heck most cars today come with some negative camber from factory. My official specs for my G37 are between -.5 and -1.5 and I am sitting at -2.3. Honestly, rolling the fenders causes a permanent change to the car which is why I wouldn't do that. Actually rolling the fenders would do squat for you as you'd need to have your fenders pulled not rolled.

I'm a little late with posting what is done to the WS6, but I can post up another pic and talk about what is done to it lol

2001 Trans Am WS6 with a 5.7L LS1 with 5.3L Stage 2.5 c&c'ed and ported heads, custom grind camshaft, long tube headers, catless y-pipe, SLP Loudmouth 1 exhaust, Strano springs, Bilstein shocks, LS7 clutch, pressure plate and flywheel, Richmond 4.10 gears.  Wheels are VMR VB3's 19x9.5"

As it sits, it's right around 510hp; I plan to do a FAST intake, 60lb injectors and a 12-bolt (keep the 4.10's of course), maybe respec a new cam and it should lay down about 455-465 to the wheels au natural! :)

That is such a sick ride.  I keep eyeing a 2006 GTO and i'm like that stock LS2 just isn't enough for me at 400hp.  Then i'm like i can mod it to get much more out of it, then i realize i won't have money to do that for a while haha.  As is it took me a year to put a cold air intake and exhaust on my car along with new motor mounts, and now i'm working to put new rims on it.

Thanks man!!  I was trying to hold out on an 05-06 GTO but at the time everyone wanted about $18,000 and then a 00 Camaro Z28 fell into my lap with 60k miles on it for $10,000 almost six years ago.  Sadly that car was totaled out and I used to insurance money to buy this!

They say that the biggest improvement on the GTO that you can do is its suspension, you get a great starting point with a pretty solid IRS setup, however the mildest changes turn it into a completely different animal!

Got my Wrangler Sport S with 12,000 miles on it last April for $21,000. That was about $2-3k below KBB/NADA.  Got it private sale, the guy wanted to upgrade to a Rubicon 10A and the dealer was going to give him squat. Bought it cash, so no payments.

My wife's 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit...that's a different story altogether.

Bought my G6 2 years ago for 13k, still paying on it as it was first thing on my credit report so i had a 20% interest rate till this summer.  Got it refinanced and pay 280 a month but have been paying upwards of 1k a month to get it finished off.

Re: Post your ride! 2014/11/12 08:16:30 (permalink)
Here is my 2012 Mazda 3 pics I took this morning down below. This car is my most recent purchase and my daily driver. I bought this car 2 years ago brand new for 19K flat with 3 year warranty that covers EVERYTHING up until 36K miles( currently have almost 17K) with a 3K down payment. The dealer wanted 23K for it but I was able to bargain down. Finally got this car payed off about 4 months ago. I got a bad ass deal on this. Besides from bargaining them down the price which no one should EVER pay sticker price is that I was able to get this car with .8% interest not even 1 percent. That's what happens when you have 820+ credit score. O ya I also was able to get 8 free oil changes which each change lasting up to 5k miles since they use synthetic. Then what else I got with my deal is I get free state inspections for the rest of my life every year as long as the dealership still exist. These inspections include my mazda 3 and any other car that I have currently(Cobra) or any other car that I buy in the future regardless of what car it is and where I buy it from. Then they also gave me an extra electronic key which cost $350(i know overpriced) and a free coupon book of all the latest restaurant like Ryan's, Golden Corral, Red Lobster, TGIF, and Olive Garden that have stuff like save 25% off on a 12 oz stake. Then they also gave me a two year warranty on my keys which they will replace for free if I lose or break any of them(weird warranty I know). Last but not least is free dent pop outs but I have to pay for paint. This model car is the Touring Skyactiv version so the second highest tier model(highest is grand touring).

Ya I know the car needs washing but its too damn cold its 37F right now and the highest is going to be 48F in my area. At least the inside is clean and smells good.

Pretty good for a dirty engine huh?

I want to know if some of you are still making payments on your cars and what kind of deals you guys got. Yes yes I know I am nosey like that.   And no not trying to compare people to each other its just my assessment on how people are doing in the economy now days.  Its like how I like to ask people about their home mortgages.

I make zero payments.

Nice!!! My next car purchase I plan to pay it all at once so I dont have to worry about being in debt and the interest. I wish cars would be one of those purchases that are tax exempt lol. But more than likely ff it is a car above 35K I probably will make payments on it. Unless I can get a job that makes 100K a year.
