bdary Impressive card you have. Your score is creeping into the lower end of SLI'd 670's...

Thanks bdary ... ... this session was using PrecX to run voltage at the +38 setting ... ... remains to be seen what the EVBot can / will do for it ...

lilchronic lilchronic 670 FTW sli 1346/7300 - 102.9 FPS - 4306 score As you can see Jim is nowhere close to where the 670 FTW sli scores with a score of 81fps...... if you have 2 670's, and your in the 80's you are doing something very, very wrong.

The FPS is not the score. The score is the score. As I said a few posts back, his "score" is up in the lower end of the 670 sli'd cards. Go look at the post #1 with all the scores posted. His score would be like 4th or so from the bottom of the 2-way sli'd 670's. You're also using the top 670's score as your example...

This is making me more antsy to buy my second 660Ti FTW card but I have the 3GB version. Seeing as how my single FTW scored a 1689, I would hope to double that and take the reign from your SLI set up lol. Good scores mate. I just wish these cards didn't dip so low though.

It takes 3 x660ti's to tie my Valley 1.0 score currently. Oc.net Leaderboard has a guy right below me with 94.5fps or something.

Well shoot...a single evga gtx 760 acx, Valley Extreme HD at +40 MHz GPU, +767 Mem clock with a FPS of 47.5 and a score of 1988. Despite an ASIC of 69% ;-) i2500K @ 4.5GHz on air (not that it got a workout). As an FYI, the GPU temp was 65~68 during this test with the fan @ 100%

I think my stability hinges on cooling (big DUH) and so I'm going to replace the thermal paste and the thermal pad under the stock cooling and retry. My score the night before was about 1850, then I applied the Nvidia control panel tweaks to run everything in "Performance" mode and that got the final big jump. I also have a window AC unit blowing directly into the air intakes on the heavily modded case. Heavily means 3x140mm fans on the front pulling through a HEPA airfilter. The card idles at 30-32 C.
