I got my 3080 Ti XC3 card in today. Can't say I'm impressed with the packaging of the card compared to the 3080 Ti FTW3. I thought EVGA was done with shipping cards in plastic clamshells? Guess not as my XC3 came in a plastic clamshell. 
Yeah for a $1200 product that sucks. My $699 1080 ti sc black came in foam in 2017.... Also damn, hopefully the small drop today was just a straggler day..hopefully the "main" drop has yet to come. but here's to hoping

I was surprised to get the email on a monday, I assume they were just extra cards from people who passed on the email. I'm sure there will be more this week

Understood. I appreciate the gesture, even if it doesn't happen. If you have access to the Firestrike scores with the control/OC runs, would you mind sharing them?
He sent me a link to his best graphics score so far, so here it is compared to the XC3. Have to remember though, he is running a 3800X @ 4.5Ghz with 3200Mhz memory.
But I'm still going to see if he will run the XC3 in his system to get a more accurate comparison.
Thanks! Was your score with the XC3 using the best OC you could get? Despite the significant CPU performance delta, that's still a wide margin for the same tier of GPU. That's certainly worth a premium if it's OC vs OC and not OC vs stock. 100 more spots in the FTW3 line will probably take another 8 weeks or more, but I think I'd have some buyer's remorse if I didn't wait it out. Still, could always sell the XC3 after a couple months. My time is exactly 6:30 on the dot, by the way. I'll report when I see the email even if I can't make up my mind.

Well I think at this point I’m just gonna pay scalper prices. I don’t care anymore, and this isn’t moving fast enough. It’ll be months before I get one possibly and hell, by then they might not even be making the xc3 anymore, everything is at a halt it seems like. Plus I’m just salty as all hell because I was able to get to the submit button at 6:01 AM but it kept erroring out.

Funny you should ask about that case. That's the case my nephew has. Yes it will fit, but it's a tight fit. In the second picture you will see the power cables are touching the glass side panel. In the first picture, those green lines are a reflection of his Razer mouse pad.

Hey Kram, can I get some clarification on that 12K score? Was your XC3 clocked reasonably high, like +150/+1000 MHz or whatever that was mentioned earlier, or was that score from stock settings? By the context, I'm assuming that score was after overclocking as much as the card would allow, however a >10% difference seems more like OC vs stock.

I have a Hybrid kit on the card and installed the Hybrid bios on the card. I wanted the XC3 because it fits my case better.
