3070ti vs 3080 for $90 more, no brainer. 3070 to 3070ti is not an upgrade.
Yea I really want a 3080 more, but those are even more impossible to get. At least i'm on this queue list. And the fact that the portable monitor I'll be using while traveling is limited to 1080p 144hz, so I think 3080 will be overkill for this.

from my understanding, yes. you pay shipping back and shipping on 3080. you pay difference between video cards.
