So close!
So very close...
I stopped trying the Newegg Shuffle last week. Too close in the queue; which I got to join because I bought a G6 850W PSU, so the one bundle that would have made sense for me didn't make sense anymore. May never have made sense if the PSU calculator is right. 750 might have been enough, but...
There's nothing quite like realizing your PSU is almost 15 years old, and where that weird noise is coming from.
It made an actual difference too! I was able to boost the SoC clock on my 5900x and get some more oomph from my memory. With my old PSU I couldn't break 1800 on the SoC, now I can get damn close to 2000 before seeing hardware errors.
(Think that's enough brownnosing to induce EVGA to drop some more '70ti's tomorrow?)

I'm tired of waiting too. 6 months. And the way XC3 sku's are flowing, it'll be another 6 months. my son is getting the FTW (so I can't be in that sku) and they are dropping a lot better. Trying to find an alternative. Would by from a scalper but they sell the same price as the refrigerator that I had to just buy. I'll probably be a grandmother by the time I get a card. I will tell EVGA this, I like the way they do business. ASUS stinks. I have two of their cards and they have zero step up program.
