Should change it to Dual GPU Quad SLI. Because reading that, to me it says you wouldn't also mind to see 4 Way SLI. Also 4 Way SLI/Quad SLI is the same in my book.

You gotta be more specific. It's easy to read, but does everyone get the same point? Obviously not. As loveha stated, I would change it to Dual GPU Quad-SLI.

Yeah. If your looking for dual GPU per card, I suggest to rename the thread. When someone dumps as much money into a 4x GPU system, they will want to show it off, as they should.

My rig a year ago b4 I had to part it out There is a GTX590, and two GTX295s in it.... It was a beast but odly enough the two GTX295s in quad seemed to have better gaming performance than the GTX590. The GTX590 turned out to have a bum GPU on it and was later RMA'ed.

Nothing you can't see on my ModsRigs already, but aww...what the heck. Really should update my pictures. The empty slot is now occupied with a bootable Revodrive 3 X2 and the X-Fi Forte was replaced with a Asus Xonar STX. As long as I keep the VRAM usage in check, (no AA ) surround gaming on my triple 28" monitors is pretty awesome. (Gee, I should post pictures of my entire workstation...)

As for everyone that posted in this topic I gave you all a +1 on your mods rigs page due to the beautiful Quad SLI setups you all have, it's my mission to keep the Quad SLI dream alive and I thank you all for posting your configurations also! As for the posters that do not have Quad SLI setups in this topic, you guys also received a +1 from me, due to your idea's for making this topic a better one, so also many thanks ! I always have loved Quad SLI since I had that 3dfx Voodoo5 6000 AGP 128MB Rev.A 3700 Engineering Sample like many other 3dfx Engineering Samples back in 2002 to 2006: Click to Enter this epic gallery And by running a Quad SLI setup today makes me want to relive that moment, the dream of Quad SLI shall never leave us! Updated my Quad SLI setup with a Hard PCB SLI Bridge Connector, more of that here: http://forums.evga.com/fb.ashx?m=1448685 Many Thanks!

tpb7463 Cmon guys, I know there are more of you out there--I want pics. Show off that "special breed of absurdity" that is Quad-SLI. Yeah That's the spirit mate! Well I do have more pics of mine, but I'd like to see what everyone else has, I mean we are not the only ones that have Dual GPU Quad SLI right? I'd even expect a few Quad SLI 9800 GX2 people as well, they are quite rare seen these days, I also hope to see some more people with two GTX 295 Red Editions, unless these cards are that scarce Oh well to keep this thread moving, this was my Quad SLI system of 2006, with an AMD AthlonXP 2700+, EPoX EP-8K3A+ and the famous 3dfx Voodoo5 6000 AGP 128MB Rev.A 3700 Engineering Sample + E-Tag & NOT FOR RESALE Decals: Closeup of the card: And from the other side: Looks of the card, top view: Rear view: And to tribute that I use a pair of ultra rare EVGA GeForce GTX 295 Red Editions in my Dual Six-Core AMD OpteronDP 2435 D0 Istanbul: The two Ferrari Red painted cards from the top view: And from the rear view: The 3dfx Voodoo5 6000 was the first card that formed a native Quad SLI solution over a single card, the GTX 295 Red Editi8ons I have now, uses Quad SLI technology of 9 years after 3dfx Voodoo5 6000, the basics are still there and to keep this dream alive is to make use of it from both sides, so to reobtain the Voodoo5 6000 is my next plan. Yet I still have plans rebuilding the 3dfx Quad SLI system some day this year, just dunno when

Ahhh this is a beautiful shot mate what resolution do you use for these GTX 590's? would 1920 x 1200 x32 be okay for them, because I am thinking to get a pair of these, but Rev.C's the Rev.C's seem to have improved capacitors and VRM's that are made in Japan and a higher quality of Solder that was used to mend the parts to the PCB. As my GTX 295 RE's go Quad SLI is a great advantage over 2_way & 3-Way especially that you have more CUDA cores in total and if you only have two PCI-Express slots it's probably the best setup SLI wise you can get, it needs some knowledge to master since it's more complex than the conventional 4-Way SLI, which is in theory the same idea but over 4 single cards instead of two Dual chip cards. This is how the Quad SLI and the Preferred PhysX GPU can be setup via the drivers: With a pair of GTX 295 RE's you have the ability to have these FSAA modes: And since you do have 4 GPU's to your disposal, even being a Quad SLI setup, these are the Muli-GPU rendering modes you can choose from: The Voodoo5 6000 had these settings, it had Anti-Aliasing Settings and Multi Chip rendering modes in one settings tab: SLI & PhysX Configuration wasn't there since you had Single chip mode or Performance which was Quad SLI as only SLI options, which fell under Multichip Rendering Modes rofl! But as you can see you could choose Single Chip, or 4 chip mode and the different FSAA mods are 2x, 4x & 8x which was Rotated Grid Super Sampled Full Scene Anti Aliasing, the FSAA image quality was superb too. So hereby I wonder what options do you get with the GTX 590's Fo that, I am peculating that the SLI modes are the same as AFR goes [AFR = Alternate Frame Rendering], but the Quad SLI menu might be different since Dual GTX 590's are like two PCB's instead of 4 so I am guessing that GPU's 1B & 2B only have the outputs right? As where with Dual PCB cards like the GTX 295 & 9800GX2's, GPU1A & 2A have the HDMI for extra output, with those GPU's do I'd also be interested in what FSAA modes you have, from what I remember Quad SLI are have these settings: Quad SLI Voodoo5 6000 RGSS FSAA x8 Quad SLI GeForce 7900 GX2 SLI 32xS AA Quad SLI GeForce 7950 GX2 SLI 32xS AA Quad SLI GeForce 9800 GX2 SLI 32xQ CSAA Quad SLI GeForce GTX 295 Dual PCB SLI 64xQ CSAA Quad SLI GeForce GTX 295 Single PCB SLI 64xQ CSAA Quad SLI GeForce GTX 295 MARS SLI 64xQ CSAA So for Quad SLI GeForce GTX 590 I am guessing it has SLI 96xQ CSAA & SLI 128xQ CSAA as extra settings? Same would mean for GTX 590 MARS II, since it's the same card like the GTX 590 but heavily overclocked and a modified PCB with some additional parts and options rofl Makes me wonder if the GTX 790 or 690 the Kepler GX2 will get SLI 256xQ setting as extra, that is if the pattern would make sense hehe. Anyways if you or any other GTX 590 Quad SLI users could post your three settings types as I have done up there, I'd be interested to see what Quad SLI GTX 590's differ settings wise towards Quad SLI GTX 295 Dual PCB's and other Quad SLI setups All I'd like to see are the following: Quad SLI and the Preferred PhysX GPU settings Anti-Aliasing Settings Multi-GPU Rendering Modes Many thanks!
