I built a rig for my Quadriplegic friend with a SuperNOVA 1000 G2, a Gigabyte Z87 OC Force/4770K. No vid card yet, running onboard.  Just got it running a couple weeks ago, after getting a copy of 8.1 Pro 64.
2 days ago, an Aide unplugged it while running. Last night I stopped by to check it out, plugged it in to a new surge strip, fired it up, now have a solid beep that sounds like boot beep. However, it seems to startup fine, no displayed warnings, other than a connection warning,(still connects through wired lan). A0 code on board,(all good). Pulled door off the C-70, sounds as if it's coming from the PSU, or the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth card, in last x1 slot just above psu...(Sys spk is up front)...Restarted 3 times same result, when it boots to windows, the constant beep begins...Ran out of time, couldn't narrow it further, but I think the card may be the problem...The Question: Is a buzzer in that psu? Haven't reset cmos yet, will be my next move, then pull card, to look for an alarm buzzer...
Thoughts?

There is no buzzer in the 1000G2, that noise must be coming from somewhere else.

I would do a clear of the CMOS and check out the error codes with the manufacture which should get you into the right direction.

Cool, that's what I needed to know. The A0 code shows upon boot normally, means it's working right.
I'm thinking that clearing cmos, and/or losing/reinstalling wi/fi card will take care of it, but if not,  and if the sound IS coming from the SuperNova, I'll be calling you boys for an RMA...Thank you for your time, Mike...

I think it may be a slightly corrupt bios, due to power loss, in which case resetting cmos will cure it...I Hope it's that simple...

Quick non-update:  Denver is in a deep freeze, (-11Degrees F currently), so haven't been able to go fix it yet.
Will update when it's warm enough to walk 6 miles to get there...

You should put a label on that computer telling people to NOT unplug the computer when it is running. That it should be only shut down normally. Many of these care facility employees won't or don't care about personal belongings. Usually they only care about the person.

I agree, and likely will make a sign for the wall behind it. I'm sure he's been an unhappy camper, since he's stuck running the laptop until I can get back over there to fix it. He's laid out $1700 in parts on this build, (the most expensive he's ever had), but I went top quality on everything, except the Monitor. That OC Force mobo  is heavily featured, and with the 4770K should keep up with his needs for at least 5, maybe 7 years...I've kept his rigs running for the last 10 years, and we finally built him a good one. First problem it's had...

Update: Cleared CMOS, problem solved...After opening case, the constant beep was from the system speaker. After clearing, and a restart, all good, so far...I'll give it a day or two usage to make sure no programs were glitched...Now I gotta make a very brightly colored sign to post by the wall plug threatening electro shock therapy to any who touch the six pack...

Got the replacement psu today, (EVGA is Awesome!!!), It's been upgraded to Platinum! Thanks, Guys!!! Got a cool EVGA Gaming T Shirt too!
Will be switching them out this evening, and prepare to get the G2 on it's way back home for refurbishing...
Thanks EVGA, for being the best in the business, bar none!
EDIT: I installed the Platinum in Micah's Monster last night, using the cables that were with the Gold...No issues whatsoever. Awesome!! Thanks again, EVGA!
Now, if I can just find the Gold's manual, I'll be ready to ship it back...
