Sadly, the ressurection only applies to the thread, not the police dog.
What the local media here forgot to mention in this article was, when asked if those dogs would survive the summer, the "offending" civilian was frisked, put in a car, driven 25 miles to the copshop, and held on charges of threatening a police officer.
