Phanteks today announced the release of the P400A's high performance, all-metal mesh front panel. Due to the high demand for this panel from our original P400(S) customers, we have decided to have this available for purchase.

The panel will be a great upgrade to all original P400(S) owners looking to boost airflow and maximize cooling performance of their case. The P400A high airflow front panel is compatible with all P400(S) models and will be available in Black and White. Because of the slight difference between the P400A and P400(S) chassis, the front fan alignment is slightly off-center by 8 mm with the P400(S) chassis. Keep in mind that this only impacts the lighting effects when using RGB fans but not airflow performance.

Personally I think the mesh front provides far more airflow and also allows you to show off the front fans especially if they have RGB capability.

I'll think about maybe getting one later - since I had the exact type of idea , so I drilled holes & made 4 slots most of the way up my front myself .... and put screening behind it.
