I wish they would do this but it’s not likely. Oh well, people out there will always find a way to abuse the system.

The issue is supply, not manufacturers.

Fairness is incongruous with this capitalist model. If EVGA wants money and they are not losing money (selling everything they make) then there is no true incentive to change the status quo.

There certainly is an incentive, and a big one; goodwill - and EVGA are earning a hell of a lot of goodwill from their actions in trying to get cards in the hands of their intended audience, and not into the hands of scalpers.

At the end of the day, EVGA obviously makes money allowing 3rd party distributors to sell so i don't see it going anywhere anytime soon
