About 4 years ago I went to a different ISP provider, huge mistake. So im going back to who i had. Anyways the tech was here in my apartment (which I lived in since 2006) about 30min ago. He confidently said that pair bond is not possible.

Now if my memory serves me right I had a advertised "fiber optic" connection. Which wasn't/isn't possible or a real fiber connection. But i had great connection with no issues.

Now I have no idea how this type of stuff works and I never heard of Pbond. It's worthy to Note that he said; "I could (install) but you might run into a lot of problems like not getting a good signal and having to reboot modem often or worse case scenario, having a tech come to fix the wiring".

I dunno... What you think?

    was it bonded dsl?
which works off 2 copper pairs not fiber most companies are doing away with it doing strictly fiber maybe why they said you couldn't have it it worked well for a while takes 2 dsl prs the modem bonds them together to get faster speed but caused a lot of truck rolls because of 2lines had to be in great shape to work right

Who is the ISP and what are they telling you the new service is? Cable, Fiber, DSL?

I have Verizon FIOS fiber. The fiber goes to the side of my house where their box is (INC)
That converts the fiber to a coax wire, that used to be roadrunner/cablevision many years ago. I have 1gb service up and down.
Real speeds are around 980mbs or so.
I did replace all the old coax to the newest version out at the time a few years ago.

Many years ago I had two phone lines and two 56k modems and would dialup both to my ISP and had a 100k connection.
I doubt there is a need to do that today in most places anyway. The speeds available today are quite fast.

    What is this thread?

He confidently told you the answer to a question that you never asked, you know nothing about, and never heard of before? How did this conversation start?  What pair of connections are you talking about pairing? How do you pair one fiber optic connection with nothing and have a pair? Maybe you are talking about link aggregation with parallel ethernet cables in your home or something?

    This is in Egypt?

What is the question? What is the mess of nonsense written in the first post? Are you human? Are you okay?

This is just another one of your threads which goes nowhere, huh?
