Hi guys.

I have this card:

EVGA 11G-P4-6591-KR

EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti iCX GAMING
and I am thinking of watercooling with EKWB blocks.
Is the PCB layout similar to the FTW3 version?
I know it doesn't have as many VRMs, but I just want to know if the GPU block will fit.

No. It won't fit.

Thanks. Have seen pictures of the naked PCB anywhere? If it's too much hassle, I might swap the card for another 180ti model, for which there are pre-build waterblocks...

You can use ekwb configurator to find out if there is a compatible waterblock. Since I was already on the site, I did search and unfortunately shows that there is no compatible FC block.

Strange thing is, I couldn't find any waterblocks compatible from EK.

If the goal is to watercool the GPU, I would exchange for one with the Founders Edition PCB reference desing (https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=11G-P4-5390-KR), plus the EK waterblock for F.E.:

Case: Asus Z370-G Box / MB: Asus Z370-G / CPU: Intel I7 8700K / Mem.: 16GB (2x8) 3000Mhz Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4 / GPU: GTX 1080TI FTW3 / A.I.O. W.C: EVGA CLC280 / PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA G3 750W

Does it have the same PCB as the 11G-P4-6599-KR Hydrocopper version?
https://www.evga.com/prod...aspx?pn=11G-P4-6599-KR

If so, the hydrocopper block may be made available by EVGA at some point. I only see the 1080 hydrocopper and 1080 Ti Kingpin hydrocopper blocks at this time. But, more may be available in the future. Try asking EVGA about availability.

I'm assuming this board is very similar if not identical to the SC2 board based on the specs, which is still very close to the reference PCB.

I have an SC Black and an SC2 Gaming and I recently put EKWB Titan X Pascal full cover water blocks on both. For the SC Black card, the Titan X Pascal water block is a direct fit. For the SC2 Gaming, there are 2 small headers that are slightly different than the reference PCB. In reality I think only one of the headers would have interfered with the water block, but i trimmed both down and the water block goes on without an issue now.

The headers are still usable for the fan/LED connections if I ever put the stock air cooler back on. The amount of trimming required is pretty small, maybe .125" or less for both headers. So you should be able to use the Titan X water block with some very small modifications... assuming the PCB for your card is the same as the SC2.

Thank you - this is very useful. If I knew this was going to be so much trouble... I'd have bought the same card anyway ;)

Yeah, it's sort of annoying. I didn't realize the SC2 didn't have a fully compatible waterblock until after I bought it.
