Every time I try to over clock by setting my own VCore, three cores get disabled and when I'm in windows, E-Leet tells me I have 1 core and two threads... I checked the processor and all the pins are making contact. When are we getting the new UEFI?

Spent a bit of time last night trying multiple settings on Manual without success. Verified that all cores were selected, but have ended up with the same result as gutierrezdairy. Tried setting VCore manually without any CPU overclock, will boot to Windows but Eleet shows only one core. Tried VCore voltages from 1.22V all the way up to 1.28V for stock 3.4Gig multiplier. Won't work at this time. Haven't messed with memory settings other than to ensure that I'm at stock DIMM voltage and that my settings are correct according to manufacturer. Will run like a champ on Auto, though, up to 4Ghz, w/excellent temps and all cores active. It's a mystery.

I followed Jacob's Overclocking Guide right down the line, following all of his settings, including disabling all settings that affect cpu limiting. Yes, the BIOS voltage does show up under the Voltages tab in Eleet, and they reflect the VCore setting I selected. I just wanted to see if I could do any manual VCore settings successfully without throwing in a CPU multiplier increase into the mix. The board doesn't seem to like the manual setting. I even remounted my H70 cpu cooler and checked the processor socket just to make sure everything is correct there, and it is. Tonight I'll remove 8Gig of my memory (leaving me with 8Gig) and play with the memory voltages a little to see if that results in any success.

Awsome, PCI-E @ 16x times 2. I'll post some pics, but it's slots PCI-E 4 and slot 6. If you use the first slot then it will be 8x and the other @ 16x. Tri sli would be 8x 16x 16x. Crazy. I like this :)

Jacob, in response to the memory timings you have suggested, using anything but the XMP memory profile results in a constant boot cycle. Won't even get to the P67 screen splash. Set my memory timings w/8G (2 sticks) Corsair Vengence 1866 @ 9 -10-9-27-2t (stock) without any other memory changes results in the reboot. Have to reset CMOS to get back to the BIOS screen. Once I set it back to XMP1, it's all sweet again. Very strange.

Well, I hit a major problem. Only one of my two video cards shows up in device manager and I cannot SLI. Both cards seem OK as both work in slot #1. Tried all of the slots and they only work in slot #1. EVGA customer support thinks it's the power supply, although I have a high quality supply. I've ordered an AX1200 so I guess we'll see if that solves it. If it doesn't, I guess I'll be RMA'ing my new FTW board.

I have a few questions before I pull the trigger on this board and I hope someone can answer them: 1 - Can all 6 of the Intel Sata ports be used at one time? I thought I read that two were shared. 2- If I run three GPU's, the PCIe slots will be 8x 8x 8x, correct? 3 - Is this board better than the MEIV? I have the Asus, but I find it quirky. I had an Asrock Extreme6 which was great, but I want three GPU's, so I thought about this board, any opinions? Anyone?

1. Yes, the ftw model does, not the regular sli 2. Yes, you are correct 3. Subjective, right now, I feel like they need to update the UEFI, other than that, the board itself has alot of nice features and I really like the layout I'm currently using dummy OC as I try to figure out how to over clock with this board, apparently a few people have gotten a very nice over clock with their boards. If you get this board and it's not DOA or has problems, I'm very sure it will last a looong time. Why? I feel the build quality is just superior.

1. Yes I am sure you can. 2. it will run 8x 16x 16x, slots 1, 4 and 6. 2 GPU's in slots 4 and 6 will run 16x by 16x, and 1 and 6 or 4 will be 8x by 16x. I just tested all this. I did 3dmark11 on all of them and the best performance was 8x and 16x. I put them in slots 1 and 6. 3. I don't know as I haven't had the MEIV. But I only had 1 problem and it was a dead Gskill stick, either it was DOA or the board did it but I can't say for sure.

Is all of the PCI-E leds lit up? If not change the jumpers by the ram slots. You can disable and enable each slot as needed.

I didn't notice if the LEDs were lit up. I've already disconnected my Antec Power Supply so I guess I'll wait for the AX1200 to show up and then check it out. Very frustrating. First I had a hard time getting any overclock to go and then only one of my 580s was active. ARGH. I really hope the power supply swap fixes this.

Here is a pic of what I am talking about with the throttling and I see in CPU Temp is looks fine. http://i.imgur.com/SByI4.png Side note: I am using both of the 8 pin power connections since my PSU has them and helps with overclocking. That's fine I'll just use dummy OC for now, the processor is fast enough anyway with that setting, although I still thirst for that overclock... I'm sure some people will be upset. However, I appreciate everything else on the board and when I weigh that one problem with the overclocking against the many luxuries that come on the board, I'm fine Thanks again on the update!

Go to overclock menu then select memory multiplier and it will give you choices all the way up to 2133mhz, select you proper speed. Then just select either custom profile or xmp and it will show your timings. I haven't tried changing timings but after I selected 1866mhz for my corsair and set xmp 1 it dropped down and showed my correct timings of 9-9-9-24. Hope this helps. Also I just got off the phone with EVGA and they were really nice and assured me that another bios update would be released because I am having same problem all of you are having. Has anyone else noticed the EIST does not work either? It idles at 1596mhz on stock speed of 3.4ghz or when I overclock to 4.7 :( Hopefully this will be resolved as well as not having to set the Vcore to auto and watch it climb in volts higher than you chip needs to be at.
