Since everybody that has a problem comes to the forums and thinks that all the 600 series cards are bad because thats all the threads they see... Im starting a positive thread for the good VGAs!
I Just got my vanilla EVGA 670 2Gb today in the mail after a very easy "Step-Up" process, and its hands down the best VGA I have ever owned! Thanks EVGA!

I do! I just finished finding my max core clock on the 670 FTW, though I'm a little confused. I don't get any artifacting or anything, but if I try to push my base boost past 1160 (+75 offset) it'll get about halfway through Heaven and the driver crashes lol. I'm not really complaining though because that nets me a nice, smooth 1306 effective clock with no dips and the card doesn't get past 63c with an auto fan profile (fan running around 65% at that temp) That's also with power target at 145%.

I looooove it! I just hope it keeps working. I have my fingers crossed :)

i've got mine 680 from step up since 2 months, and just got over 10000 on 3d mark11...never had a single crash on BF3...
Got also Backplate and high flow bracket!
    never been so happy!!
It's a fantastic card! but now i was thinking to sell it and get a Classified...looks sooo cool...a bit much expensive...650+100 for ev bot...i must think about it...
    for a bit more i can get a 2nd 680...
and also i don't understand why Classi this time got only 3 year of warranty...my 570 classi had 10 years...

I had two vanilla EVGA GTX 680's and they clocked great and performed outstandingly. I sold them to pick up the EVGA GTX 680 Hydro Copper cards that have not been in stock since.

These cards smashed my previous GTX 580's in performance and I loved those cards.

Looking forward to getting 680's again if EVGA ever puts any more Hydro Copper cards out again lol.

Im thinking about selling my 2 EVGA 460 SC EE for $110 each, selling one of my GTX 480 for $180 and selling my X58, I7 930, 8gb G.Skill memory, and GTX 260 to upgrade to a EVGA GTX 670 4gb, SSD, and new keyboard. Thoughts?

Sell both your 480's and keep one 460 EE. Get a GTX 680 though. Do it!

My 680 FTW 4gb (w/backplate  ) is in the mail!  Good ol 285 has served me well over these years, time to bump it down to the bottom slot for ????  we will see if it helps for physx or something i guess......

Edit: Got the card today, looks pretty nice, boosts out of the box to 1176 and dominates BF3 everything maxed on 1680 x 1050.  Haven't overclocked or tested with 3D vision yet.

Jacob, out of curiosity why 2 x 680 SCs over 690(s)?

    Thanks.

I love my 3 GTX 680 's They allow me to get benchmarks scores higher/more then I have ever gotten before. They also run cooler then any other water cooled cards I have ever had before! They also allow me to play any game available right now at the highest settings above 60FPS. A simple shout out ...... but it's all I wanted.

    Ok I'll bite.....

My post does not come from the "enthusiast" point of view as does the majority who overclock, water-block  and talk-the talk so to speak. Me? average guy who loves to play games and generally wants fast play not interrupted by stuttering, spotty graphics and the like.....I want to be able to handle both current and next gen games....so my GTX 670 4Gb, out of the box, went in my box.......now truth be told I ran bench marks and boost clocks, heaven and 3dmak.......it performed well...but at the end of the day, my graphics run high/ultra on all the games I currently play....BF3/FSX mostly..... I believe my "experience" which is my reality is that gaming as a whole is more enjoyable..I see more features, colors and can kill a few more BF3 players than I might have before.......

    Me = Happy....
Me = Computer Caveman....drag knuckles on ground and sit on benchmarks.....
Me = playing not nerd testing.......(j/k) <---- I do the numbers thing all day in medical field......

SLI 680s here. I have them crammed together in a e758 with only 4c difference in temps between the cards! I was very fortunate to catch the stepup within minutes of availability. I traded in a couple 580 3GBs and have no regrets.

2x EVGA 680s. The best damn graphic cards I have ever owned hands down. Runs everything at max even on my old i7920 x58 asus.

My friends jaws drop, not at the benchmarks, they cant grasp the smoothness of these cards in action during intense fire fights in BF3.  And Max Payne 3 fully maxed out is just plain amazing!

The cards are so much cooler and quieter than my previous GTX 470.

5x 120mm fans 1x 80 mm fan and my specs below all running on a TX750 watt power supply from corsair. I havent had this much fun playing computer games since my Voodoo2 running Quake 3 Arena with "Rocket Arena Mod"

Performance vs power consumption is excellent with the 680 IMO.

the 680 is the real deal. i love that i can have a single card that performs this well and still have the option to sli down the road.
