    Have you guys seen the latest abomination using the Quake brand name?
     
    I hope there are riots at Quake Con about it, otherwise, RIP Quake.

    If it wasn't 4-5hr drive one way i would go just to check it out again.

    Nice Sim. My first year was 2005 and been staff ever since 2007. I love the event and dont even game anymore when here, minus the special stuff for us staff members get.

    Is it me, or does this year seem almost entirely oriented around Doom?

    QuakeCon main focus is Id Tech games, Doom just came out a few months ago.

    Their are some other world-exclusives happening that will only be seen at Quakecon live, no streaming, like last year with DOOM.
