In my opinion, equality means being discriminated against just like everyone else. Bronies are flamboyant and obnoxious, but it isn't their fault. According to CNN, 80% of male bronies are autistic, they simply can't recognize the emotion of annoyance in others.

And bronies originated from 4chan.

But who listens to CNN? The main problem I have with that story (even know I cant seem to find it) Is that I have not ran into that many truly "autistic" ones. At least not a greater number of annoying people then any other type of event i have gone to. The most "annoying" people tend to be the magic or card based gamers. But than again Communication skills are only a part of real Autism, Obsessive compulsive disorder is also a big part of it... And most people with that do not tend to be outgoing and adventurous. A big majority of bronies are very social and go to meetups and events. They seem to be more friendly then most people at other kinds of conventions or meetups i have gone to.
Bronies are social people looking to connect with others. That is how it got as big as it is in the first place. They found something they can connect and be a part of. They understand quite well how to be social with each other.

I say the people who are angry or shun at people they do not understand are the truly autistic ones. Because they lack in social adaptivity and are mentally unable to understand anything outside their bubble. They can not learn or understand how other types of people socially interact.

@Baltothewolf - You're deliberately misinterpreting what I said to create an issue where none is present. I highly doubt you have an autistic brother if you're incapable of conceding there is an autism spectrum ranging from low functioning to high functioning. Autism does not mean one lacks the capacity to be social and engage with others, especially when they share a common interest. Most high functioning autists socialize quite well with others regarding their area of interest.

I know because I am a high-functioning autist, I also have several friends who are therapists for those with autism. I am quite proactive within my community regarding the matter and am even responsible for coercing my school district to change their policies regarding cognitive impairments.

So... before you go throwing your hands up and whining over an issue that exists only within your mind, apply some critical reading skills and understand what is being conveyed.

I am inclined to ask however, what exactly is "that" that I am starting on? Please enlighten me or simply concede you were looking to start a fight because someone disagrees with yours and others 'species identity disorder'.

I'm not discriminating against disabled people, I'm discriminating against any individual who finds it necessary to turn everything into a MLP discussion. Which is why I'm thankful such annoying, flamboyant material is contained within this thread. Where others like you can huff and puff over nothing all day.
