No consumer version currently, but this was announced and a few were given away. Nvidia is showing that they can hold tight lips after getting rid of the leakers that gave away all of the information.

“Hey consumers, here another Titan you cant afford! Keep guessing on when will release a consumer card!” CEO Jensen Huang (not an actual quote, just what it looks like as he thumbs his nose at the consumers waiting for the next gpu)

How about those 11xx/20xx cards everyone is so focused on.

No guarantee this one will ever make it to consumer market, except for the 10 or so that will be on ebay. It is just nvidia showing off how they kill off their own products and then name it something stupid.

CEO Edition is a stupid name for numerous reasons regardless of who applies it to such a product. Just like applying emoticons to stupid, misrepresenting and predictable posts. Well done.

Right. If AMD had done this, you would have said the AMD CEO deserved to have a CEO Edition card for how great they are. You also said..."What's with all these stupid name, lately?" What other names are you talking about?

5120 cores should be enough to handle 4K gaming needs with one card

Still I like SLI as some games are so demanding

    Stupid names:

    CEO Edition (Think about this).

FTW or For the Win. I know, it's not really in the "Lately" category as it's been around for a while but, can this get any more juvenile? Sounds like a meme for 3rd graders.

Threadripper. The CPU whose socket has a better name (TR4). Again, this sounds like a name thought of by youngsters. Or art majors. Both useless.

Team T-Force. Who owns this company? The Expendables?

There's more, but I don't have time for this.

I would consider the new Titan V to replace my current one, if the performance was actually better by a good amount. I need the best single card to run this 4k 144 hz screen, as most games i run do not use SLI, and so far the Titan has been an amazing investment in that regard. But i can always use more power.

4k 144hz monitors arent getting good reviews, especially when set to 144hz, so you may as well save your extra funds for now.

I suspect the titan v OG non CEO edition with low vram (less than half the vram even) compared to the new one will lose value since it was never worth $3k for gaming unless you had deep pockets and a need to spend money.

Whats the problem with the new 4k 144 monitors? It seems amazing to me. As for the price of the titan v, yeah its excessive, in my case my fiancee bought it for me as a gift. But its solid as a rock for people that want a single card that doesn't feel like a downgrade from SLI. Obviously eventually this performance will drop for the mainstream cards.

    For starters: https://forums.evga.com/f...o=newest&m=2830154

    www.techpowerup.com/245231/latest-4k-144-hz-monitors-use-blurry-chroma-subsampling%3Famp

They downscale the signal to make it work, since the display port cannot transfer enough data for true 4k 144hz. That is a shady practice, making it not worth the price.

Tell your fiancée i wouldn’t mind a Titan Xp Star Wars collector card ;-) lol! Since i am not emotionally attached, i wouldnt mind the cheap titan lol.

    120 Hz is enough.

It really is, but we both know it should be advertised as 4k/120hz

I knew the monitor couldn't do 144 hz without using some type of trickery before I bought it, so wasn't a big deal to me as I only planned to use 120 hz anyway.
