All, are there any preferred Nividia Driver settings to optimize 3dmark performance?  Particularly Timespy?  I changed the texture quality setting from "quality" to "performance" and got around a 2% gain.

Run from last night on my normal gaming fan/OC settings, no CPU OC, ram underclocked from XMP.  PR just by changing that texture setting, about 2% better than what I was getting.

    Yep...

    1. Open the nvidia control panel.
    2. Select the adjust image settings with preview menu.
    3. Select "Use my preference emphasizing" and set it to performance.
    4. Apply the settings then goto the manage 3d settings menu, and set "Texture filtering - Quality" to High Performance from Quality, and disable Vertical Sync.

Should be good to go then.

Hey thanks!  It's a bit warmer here today than when I last ran it, by changing the preview menu setting picked up about 20 points in the GPU score (personal record, but below my max stable settings) while seeing a drop of about 200 CPU points.  Texture filter setting the same as before (high performance).  Fiddled with the power management mode, antialiasing gamma and latency settings, but I'm guessing those don't do anything.

Is it legal to change settings in NVIDIA control panel to improve 3DMark Scores.
I think only default settings are allowed for valid results?
