Hello i need some help.
After i install evga nu audio driver to my pc, I try to open the Nu Audio program but the program does not open ,I try Run as administrator it still not running program.
(I plug in headphone to the card so it work, i can listening music from youtube or spotify but i can not adjust the volume because Nu audio program does not run.)
Please help me and thank you for every comment.

Hello tomcat19, Welcome to the forms, now one thing I would want to make sure is that the program is not actually opening. Are you getting any errors when you try to launch some time it does open but is just in the system tray please check there and if you see the icon for the software try to open it there. jeffro66

Also, with the NU Audio program closed, try going into your App Data folder, then Local, then EVGA. You'll see a folder that starts with NUA.exe_Url_[gibberish], and ends with a bunch of random numbers and letters. Delete that folder, then try opening up the software again.

Problem solve. The program is running but can not open with normal icon in desktop . It just in the system tray when i click icon in system tray,the program is show up. Thank you for help.

yes I have it in bottom slot now it's sounding good not sure whats going on. I put new battery in dark mb and just played metro 2hours didn't crash to desk top but play far cry new dawn will crash but not with my 1080fe know you guy's are talking about Nu card but having weird problems I played new dawn for amonth no crashes before?

jeffro, can you get the software open now?
If the headphone slider doesn't adjust volume, then it's possible the software crashed and restarted. A reset will usually fix that. If it doesn't, then an uninstall, including removal of the folder I mentioned above, then reinstall should work. Another alternative is to do a hard shutdown to reset the amp (turn system off, then flip PSU off), then boot again to see if it's fixed.
On my X299 DARK, I have the card in the X4 slot. That's mostly due to other PCIe devices in slots to allow SLI to function at X16, but that's where I have it, just FYI.

still unable to open Lee will try slot 4 in second and would you guys test the 1080ti kingpin more or should I rma it got it approved it's always been a good one hate to send back and get a refurb?

Check the BIOS to get the 3.3V, 5V, and +12V and list those here.

I will move back down to 6
and Lee here what I got from bios
+12v - 12.03
+5v - 4.96
3vsb - 3.36
vcc3- 3.28
Also with that CPU you should be running Bios 1.17 If I did not have 2 GPUs install I would be using Slot 5.

I just upgraded cpu to 9940x it was perfect it is what I was also thinking was dreading taking heatsink off so should I run to best buy get a 750psu or something close to test with in my other computer is only a 500 watt? just sold a evga 1000g1

Based on the voltages in the BIOS, the PSU sounds stable.
When was the last time you cleared the BIOS? Obviously save all your settings first to a profile, but then try clearing the BIOS and booting up normally. See if having everything at stock helps with the issue.

I've tried that several times on all 3 bio's got a evga 850gs gonna try that see if makes a difference I can also use this power supply in my other computer to test king pin card let you guy's know soon if that's not it then it's the motherboard.

I just Pulled out my NU Audio Card from my X299 Dark.
I may take mine out now it has ran good today played several different games i'm off this week so doing serious testing before rma power supply the 850gs seems to handle mine good would prefer 1200 though played ghost recon 3hrs not a blimp
