No Clan Tags for MW2 PC?

If Clan Tag capability exists for the PC version of MW2, I sure haven't been able to find out how to use it.  I mean, the PC version is pretty much a direct port of the console versions, right?  They have clan tag ability, so why not the PC version?  This makes it extremely difficult to try and get a few people on the same side during gaming.
 
But if there's a way to do this, and still keep my MW2 rank and progress then just tell me how and call me an idiot!

    Just add your friends to your steam friends page. While ingame click Play and then press Shift + Tab and bring up your friends list. Right click their name then click Invite to Group. They will then get a popup with a link to click, if they click it they will be stuck into the game with you at your "Party" screen. From there you can choose the gametype you want to play and you will be put on the same team every game so long as the party leader does not quit.

    but yeah from the "menu" area

    click on "invite" then it opens your steam window and you can invite your friends that are willing/ready, which will bring them into a room.

    Also keep in mind if your the "Party Leader" you have the rights on what game type you want to play.
    You also have the rights on who to invite. So if BOB joins and he wants to invite his brother, YOU have to invite BOBs Brother lol ^^v

    I don't think this is right, I have invited ppl and been invited by other ppl when I/they were not the party leader.

    And as for clan tags just go into the steam settings tab and put it in your name.

    Thanks guys.  I found out last night that there's really no need for Clan Tags in MW2.  Once you get everyone in your group, you can just join a game and your party is automatically on the same side.  The game map even identifies where your party is by marking them as a different color - blue vs green on the map, nice.
