Yeah I finished steps 2 to 5 the same day (11/24). They got my card Monday 30 and still haven’t ship out the new card.
Would call them today if you don't hear anything.

If anyone already send in the card and it arrived at their facility. I'm waiting since monday to get back my card and status is still pending. I call EVGA and the agent told me that they had their annual stocktaking this week and cards will be send out today, latest monday with UPS.

1 question though: Are all the cables/manuals/DVD required to be sent back? I don't know if I'll be able to up-turn my room to find them. I'm finding some competing information - some say the accessories are not going to be asked back but some say they will be.

Crap. But I appreciate the confirmation. I'll do my best to find it all but generally when I get a PC piece, I put it into my computer as well any necessary accessories, but any unused parts go into my 'Generic Computer Parts' bin - or possibly even into a friends machine. My major concern is sending back an incomplete set and having my Step-Up denied for that reason. I don't mind paying an additional fee for missing (minor) pieces, but I'm not sure if this is an all-or-nothing situation. I also got rid of the empty box because it was huge and my place isn't large enough to have empty computer-part boxes lying around. I pray I find a decent box with decent packaging.

Make sure you pack it padded well. You can go to UPS store or similar. Just send in what you have, I don't think it's a huge deal. You do need the GPU [or w/e] undamaged in stock condition.

EVGA received my 2080 today and a couple hours later I got an email from UPS, my 3090 is coming tomorrow!

I think some may not be updating, or they may not know about the extra spreadsheet. Would be nice though if they did. I applied for step-up 10/20/20, waiting oh soo patiently for step 2. GL2U!!

Wish they'd done that on mine. I overnighted mine to them last week. They still haven't shipped out my 3090... even with the product page showing the older card received. ;(

That entirely depends on you. You only pay the difference in MSRP between the card that you purchased and the card you select. You hold onto your old card until your new card is ready. You ship your card back, and they ship you a brand new card. If you find value in that process than it’s worth it. In my case, I got the 3080 on October 2nd. I’m pretty bummed out that the new ti cards are rumored to come out very soon; Nvidia just announced an RTX event for January. I think new generation games are going to be more VRAM heavy, even at 1440p. I ended up starting a trade up for a 3090 today. I’m paying the exact dollar difference from what I paid for the 3080 to the 3090. I’d estimate the process will take months. I’m basically sitting on a rental card and will get a brand new card after using this one for possibly 6 months. Worth it to me.

The step up last from 90 days, BUT if you join the step up before the 90 days expire, then you'll stay in que unless you cancel the step-up. You asked if it was worth it. dryja had a good answer, I think. I mean you get the full value of what you paid, then get a brand new card. Win in my book. I have used step-up several times, I'm glad they have it. The wait sucks, but I think it's worth it.

Nice, just got step two mail right now. As I said, step one was 10/2 from germany. I'm a happy little gamer right now.  Edit: Step 1: 10/2 Step 2: 12/17 Step 3 12/18 Step 4: 12/18 12/21 Old card received by EVGA(delivered by UPS 11:56, page updated around 16:00). I hope the new one goes out today or tomorrow  12/22 Card still not send out (18:41 now), so I guess I can forget about a before christmas delivery. Man this sucks... 12/23 Card shipped, expected delivery 12/29. Better than not being shipped before christmas holidays I gues  12/29 Card arrived (red lips, 20141 serial) and runs fine so far. Hope it will stay this way ^^ gl everyone getting your cards fast
