Very nice rig, I'm jealous.

How are you enjoing the x370 Taichi? Mines currently shipping
Anything I should be weary about getting it set up for a windows install? I went with 3000MHZ Corsair LPX Vengeance.

R5 1600 @ 4.1GHz 1.36vc, GTX 1080 FTW Hybrid, ASRock x370 Taichi, 16GB Corsair Vengeance LPx

Thanks, I'm certainly enjoying it a lot!
The Taichi is a great board, I wasn't happy that there's no start button on the mb but I knew that in advance. That's the only negative or complaint that I have so far though.

As far as Windows install? I did not have a single problem with that at all; it reconfigured Win10 on the fly from my old mb and intel chipset on the fly when I booted up first time. I'v since installed a clean version but I even did that while logged onto Win10 and zero problems.

The positives:
ASRock puts out the new bios versions for Taichi faster than any AM4 board so far from what others tell me and from what I've read.
Update to the latest 3.0 version it's been very stable for me.
The LAN speeds are kind of insane imo; with the z97 to this, my downloads speeds have gone up by 40mbs which astounds me.
The M.2 Ultra provides a nice little boost to NVME drives.
It's one of only two x370 boards I found that has wifi included on the mb with discreet antenna. The Hero VI has the little adapter thing that plugs into the mb but I always thought that was a clumsy way of adding wifi to the mb.
The board runs cool, temperature-wise with 5 fan header slots and 2 of those are configurable for fans with pumps (mostly for aio coolers).

Oh before I forget you'll have the best results with memory using AMDs list here:
https://www.amd.com/system/files/2017-06/am4-motherboard-memory-support-list-en_0.pdf

I didn't use memory on that list, but it was on the manual's list of memory...and I can't get it to run at 3200mhz with my cpu overclock.  At least not yet, we'll see as I tinker with the settings some.

But that's about it; I'm very happy with the mb and even the onboard sound is surprisingly good. My wife has the same mb and cpu and while I'm using a sound card, she's using the onboard sound I was kind of shocked at how good it sounds.

Looks good.
Im waiting on my newegg RMA credit to order the last part I need for my ryzen build.

As for OCing I went with Asus because their auto OC software has great reviews.

Stunning build, only thing I can recommend is:

1.  Get some cable combs for your wires
2.  Tidy up the wires at the bottom of the mobo a bit so they also look more organized

Good recommendations. I have the cable combs...they arrived a week after I posted these pics. The bottom wires? I don't even know where to start with those. Do you know of any extensions that would help clean that up; it's just a mess from the case cables.

In the least you could pull them tighter so there isn't all that slack, assuming you should have space behind the motherboard to fit?

I have a thread started in modrigs, posted what I have so far.
I placed the order for my last part ( Asus 1080Ti poseidon a few hours ago).
but now I want to get a new case too.
Im looking into this hardline tubing, not sure if I want to get that into it. Looks awesome, but I could not imagine having to pull it apart for service.

Yeah, I can do that; there's space for sure behind. I'll keep an eye out too and see if anybody makes aftermarket extensions for the case wires too.

Just posted in there! And yeah, the hardline tubing looks great but it's sometimes a pain to build and definitely if you change parts frequently. Pulling it apart for service? There's not much of a difference except I just drained the loop in my previous build with it after a year, the PETG tubing was in that for about 3 years so it definitely holds up well if you're not upgrading often.
