Been playing the new Avengers game the last two days, must say the implementation of DLSS 2.1 is amazing, getting 100FPS the majority of the time (locked to my refresh rate) & everything settings wise is maxed out with DLSS on Quality.
I ended up turning the refresh down to 60Hz as that seemed to fix a crashing issue I was having on the Tundra level, apparently that's a common thing so I'll be bumping back up to 100Hz & seeing if the issue presents itself again, it's a Driver Hung error thing from the game itself.
But overall, I really hope more games get DLSS 2.0/2.1 implemented properly with the Quality setting, it does an amazing job of both good looking anti-aliasing & improving frame rate vs native resolution.
This is on a 3080 FTW3 Ultra of course, running at 1980MHz 875mV - and my PC is at stock, imagine I'd have even more flatlined FPS if I set back to 5GHz, I just haven't switched my settings back yet, I tend to run at stock whenever I'm just downloading something to save power/stress on the hardware.
BTW that game is half off on Steam right now if anyone is interested in it & hasn't gotten it yet.
Hope we get some 3080/3090/3070 queue movement today for all y'all's sake, these cards really are something.
Does it have a solid amount of play for single player/offline?

So is the 3080 ftw Gaming just not moving at all? Seems those of us who queued up for that one are screwed. EVGA is clearly prioritizing the FTW ultra cards. Understandably so, but if I could move my registration over to that card I'd have a FTW3 already since my notify date is passed where we are in the queue already.
If it brings you any peace of mind, consider that if the queues operated in the manner you describe, the expensive card you are willing to pay extra for would still be backlogged, as many many many people would have taken the option to claim those cards from other queues, as you are suggesting you would have liked an opportunity to do, and the queue would still be much further back towards the early launch window time, and not as far along as it is now.

Just a heads up, I received an email for the XC3 Ultra at 10:11 PT today. 9/17/2020 3:40:02 PM PT was my sign up time.
Not sure if I wanna buy yet... I was hoping to get the FTW3 Ultra still, but my sign up time was on 9/19, so still a chunk of queue ahead of me. Gonna be a difficult 8 hours to decide, ugh...
That is a tough call.
For what its worth, the 3080 FTW3 Ultra should start picking up speed too (yesterday's drop moved that queue approximately two hours), but there are likely more people signed up for the FTW3 Ultra.... Tough call. In some respects, perhaps, there might not be a wrong answer.
Good luck making the decision.
Oh, one more thought, if you get the order in by 2 pm PT today, there is a good chance that the card would ship today as well. I have no idea whether cards will ship tomorrow (due to the long holiday weekend).
Thanks for the luck, and thanks for keeping us organized with this whole queue situation the last couple months. I'll probably just keep waiting for now. I'm 222 spots away on the spreadsheet, so if the pace of the queue keeps up it should take 15 days for my email... and with any luck it'll actually start moving a little faster even! rdrmllr

The 3080 FTW3 Ultra queue moved 2 hours yesterday and is at 7:58 PM so, I don't know when you're trying to get the 3080 by, but if its for 12/10 for Cyberpunk I don't know if I would bank on getting it even with a 9/19 time especially since they're gonna be closed after tomorrow
If you need it for CP I would get the XC3 Ultra and then get in the queue to step up to a FTW3 Ultra sometime next year
Just my 2 cents, but it depends on what your deadline is for needing a 3080 cause if you don't need it for CP then just wait for the card you want
Excellent advice, thank you! I probably will play CP, but I highly doubt I'll buy it at launch, let alone start playing it at launch anyway so I can probably do to wait for the FTW then.

UPS has suspended any guarantees of service during COVID.
COVID will last a year or more so they should lower prices. Why should I pay overnight delivery if no guaranteed.

I emailed EVGA support this morning about the website issues last night that prevented people from completing their notification orders (in my case the 3070 ultra gaming). No response yet, but although I have given up, I will post any response if I actually receive one.

Gonna have it shipped within the US but the transactions failed probably because the billing addresses of my credit card and PayPal are outside of the US. Just emailed EVGA to see if I could still make the purchase...

Tried all the normal solutions - cleared cache/incognito, multiple browsers, switched devices, and even switched networks for a different public IP. I don't think it is anything being provided from the client, must be something related to the account on the server side. Such an almost happy night!
(Emails sent to orders + webmaster to see if they can assist)
I am confident you will have good news tomorrow. Just call them first thing after they open up at 9 am PT. Please report back to this thread if you continue to have difficulties. Good luck!
...and you were 100% correct. They got it sorted out pretty quickly resolving an internal account issue (nothing I could control) and my order has been completed.

MLID seems to like conspiracy theories from what I can tell. Not to say I've followed them much but kind of out on the fringes, but maybe others have seen a solid track record over time on their info.

Hopefully this can serve as a quick update for orders. Received my purchase notification from EVGA at 5:18pm EST yesterday. Shipped from Anaheim, California to North Florida, and in my hands in less than 24 hours! Cudos to EVGA for a quick handoff to UPS on this purchase. I'm sure they know how anxious we all are to get our hands on these cards. Now all that's left is to get her installed and benchmarked!
