No evga, but we have a new brand ELSA. I'll have to check their warranties lol.
I thought it was just a typo but I guess that actually is a brand.

Is there any reason these won't fit the EVGA card? Aren't they all exactly the same?

I assumed so, but I'm no expert.

It actually is listed as compatible in EKWB's configurator tool. I assume this was just an oversight.

1080 Ti “Founders Edition” reference cards (a Nvidia design) - by definition would all be the same

Both of them have them same contact points and the same chunk of metal underneath the tops/covers. It's mostly cosmetic.

Just keep in mind, these blocks are compatible with any founders style board, not "reference" style board.. for example, the SC black has a DVI port. This Block will NOT work with any card that has a dvi port where the 1080ti founders cards do not.

For location of the dvi, it is the same as the Titan XP. The traces are still there from the TXP pcb, they just didnt populate the port.

Went to Frys in Seattle this morning to buy my wife a new laptop for work. Asked the guy to check and they had one EVGA 1080ti in the back. Yep i bought it. going to replace my 980ti HC's and go one card for awhile. maybe sell one of the 980ti's

I also pre ordered this block and back plate from EKWB when to got back to my office. Ship date says 04-13

BTW if anyone is near Seattle they had several MSI founders editions in stock. although they dont show on the website.

Guy told me they just got a few boxes this morning and some of the people on the wait list took the EVGA cards instead. So there is a couple MSI cards not in the inventory pool yet.

I actually saw this earlier as well.

Also, EK used to make the WBs for EVGA for a short period of time before they stopped.  (900 Series)  IIRC, I think something went down but can't confirm and now seeing them not on the list only raises my suspicion.

Its gonna be weird trying to use this and 1080ti and a 980ti HC for PhysX. The g1/4 ports dont line up HAHA. Gonna have to frankenstein with fittings probably

I have a 1080Ti comming through a step-up. Since there's a Titan XP in now I may try the Ti for PhysX jusr for giggles. If I get real bored on a rainy Saturday I'll swap them for comparison, lol.

They just announced the ftw2 blocks.

The real question is, how many times would they need to say "it fits founders reference boards" so people will understand it is meant for founders reference boards? It was probably judt an oversight for them to put it on the site

Actually, the top that says GTX 1080 Ti can be place over the SLI Water Block; it is separate. You can just remove the hose adapters below it and place the "SLI Water Block"

I have the EKWB titan block installed on my EVGA 1080Ti FE card. Runs great - haven't seen it go above low 40s under benchmarks and stress tests. Hope that helps.

That is why I said they are a waste for users who are going SLI.
