Ah, thanks Linuxrouter. Just joined Cudenver, afaik, all BOINC projects are single core, you usually just run several tasks/wus on the same rig. Due to the big memory usage, they just limit you to one or 2 tasks at a time, but you can still run other projects along

Thanks for setting up a team for this, have been away all weekend until just now. Doing a one-unit on a folding client then I'm gonna give this a try!

No problem. :) I have completed 10 tasks so far. Runtime ranges from 107.17 to 5827.18 seconds. I saw peak memory usage of 1650MB for one task. So far I have not seen any errors running in Linux. I like this project because it gives me a way to take advantage of the extra memory that I otherwise have no good use for. I might use 3GB out of 16GB on average. Also, with a max two task limit, this project does not require very much processor resources.

I like it too. Another reason is if you have 8gig memory in a laptop, this project seems perfect for it because it runs cool.

Hmm, I see that now. Funny that the only place you can put the invitation code in is on the web page form. but it says you don't NEED the form if you're running a version of BOINC less than 5.2+.? I had to get to work, but I'll do it when I get home. Thanks Urlauber!!

So far so good, only one unit had an error. Using a lot of RAM on this though. 5.13 out of 6 GB when not doing anything else on the rig. I noticed the program is good at releasing RAM as other tasks require it. I'll be sure to add more RAM soon, as the requirements are supposed to increase as the project goes along.
