So short and sweet,
been a long time avid supporter of evga because I always know my gear had a solid build and great support I love the tech support when RMA time comes, we all remember the 290 co-op lol
Started an RMA for a friend after his card started to roll his box also at normal clock speeds the display shows artifacts also.
the only way to keep the card from locking/artifacting his system is to underclock the video card below normal clocks
1 thing to list here is the video card that was declined was previously RMA card that was sent back so we would think this is a different card that he got.
the reason why the RMA was declined was they had said the pci-e slot had damage I will list pic below, now this damage could have happened in testing at facility even before the card was sent to him from the original RMA.
I'd like to see if we can get this RMA pushed through because the small chip on the pci riser is a joke. its not a burn or really even effect the use of the card in my bench system after it was returned I looked it over and it works in my system but in fact shows artifacts at normal speeds, granted I didn't get the box rolling but what can we do about this?
Thanks.
