I'm building new rig and don't understand how DisplayPort or HDMI works, but it sound really good. My current rig has 2 GTX 560 Ti cards with each having 2 DVi connections plus  a mini-HDMI (not used). My desktop consists of 4  monitors(1680X1050) with 2 of these monitors connected to each of the GTX 560 Ti's.

The GtX 760 has 2 DVI connectors, an HDMI connector and a DisplayPort connector. Also my new Motherboard will have a DisplayPort connector and an HDMI connector. What do I do? Can I connect two my monitors to the DVI connectors on the GTX 760 and then with adapters and/or cables connect the other two monitors using the DisplayPort and HDMI connectors on the GTX 760. The monitors have both a DVI and a VGA connector.

I can't find much about using DisplayPort, so any help will be appreciated.

Thanks.

    Hi MoreDimms,

Yes you can use adapter cables. Check out the config tool on Nvida's site:  http://www.geforce.com/ha...nd/system-requirements.

But it looks like you won't need to. For surround it wants 2 DVI connections on the master card and one on the second....

It also looks like it only supports 3 monitors in surround... If I read it right you need a third card for accessory display

    Hi Shrubby

Thanks for the info. I had to drop this for a while,  and that's the reason for the late thanks.  My GTX 560 Ti doesn't  support "Surround" so the Surround Setup info was helpful.

You can run all 4 of your sub-HD screens on a single GTX 760. Just get a suitable display port to HDMI/DVI/dual link DVI adapter for the 4th display.

You can (hopefully) run the 3 displays in surround from the other 3 ports, then use the 4th as an accessory display. (nvidia surround is very picky)
3 of the displays will need to be the exact same model for surround to work.
