I decided to re-paste and replace new thermal pads on on my Nvidia 3080 FE, I have some Ultra Soft Alphacool 3mm pads for the back plate as per Igors tip to lower the memory temps, but I was trying to see if they would work on the memory side and it seems way too thick, my gpu gets too hot i think went from 51-53 to 60c but the memory temps droped quite a bit from 108 to 96-98 this is mining ETH, I asume its bad contact to the cooler.  Would anyone know what size pads I can use safetly on that side of the video card? I also use Noctua  Nt-H1 paste was wondering if that's a good paste, thank you guys for any reply and or advice

    1.5mm for the Core side only.

    thank you i ordered some 1.5 and 2mm ive heard guys use 2mm also, ill try

    for anyone that want to cool their memory temps on your 3080, I used 3mm alphacool ultra soft pads, they are pretty awesome, went from 108c to 94-95c, replced them on the back plate and the memory side of the Founders Edition card
