Ok, this is pretty frustrating. When I install NVidia drivers, I always do a custom install, where I untick everything except the driver and PhysX. With 368.39 NVidia HD audio driver installing itself automatically after I boot my system. I do have a dedicated sound card installed with the latest drivers and all, but NVidia driver still wants to install its driver, what's up with that? Also, when I try to uninstall, or disable those 8 audio channels, they keep coming back after restart. I need some help here. Now, I did disabled automatic driver update in Advanced Settings>Hardware>Device Installation Settings, but I made no difference, it still installs drivers, I guess windows 10 is broken in that department as well. The reason i'm doing this, is to try to fix my sound loop freeze crash, with Kernel Power 43 61, which might be an audio driver conflict. Any help is highly appreciated

Just choose custom with a clean install with everything checked. Disable what you're not using in Sound Panel in Control Panel.
Has worked for me with no issue.

That's what for custom installs are for. Don't allow programs to install what they want. Install what you want. Most annoying feature of all is always auto-update.

I disabled the video board audio channels in my Device Manager. The installer can't see them and won't install the audio driver for them no matter what:

+  for clean install! I had a problem similar to this a couple years ago and more recently with a program my wife installed for her work (it auto-updates). Instance number one was easily resolved by using a program from Treexy called Driver Fusion, It does (or did at least) do an exhaustive search to uninstall all the bits and pieces left behind even during a what was supposed to be a clean install. It was light years easier than trying to decipher what is and what is not a bit of driver and where these bits are located. I believe this is a pay program now. For the wife's case, it was a matter of rolling out CCleaner from Piriform. It cleaned up a part (?) of the original install program (it was supposed to self-clean/delete) that was trying to endlessly install an update to the program... a first install check for updates kind of thing. In the future, when you get this sorted out, track down the audio driver from the chipset maker. They provide only the driver for the device function, no funky junk.

That's odd. You sure someone wasn't lurking into your machine in the late hours of thee night? lol Nonetheless, I always run 3 programs of protection on my PCs and never had issues of any sort of breaches. I might have had a couple viruses sneak past me over the course of 20 years and a few malware but overall its been fairly good here. I take that stuff very serious and at least one update and scan each month.

Disable windows update inside services.msc & taskschd.msc. Shouldn't re-install now.

Sorry I totally missed the part with Clean Install and yes, I do always use Clean Install. This is pretty weird, when I disable all HD audio channels, they're all enabled again after I reboot the system. Also if I uninstall each one, one by one, they're back after reboot.... I'm clueless and frustrated...

An EVGA Tech showed me that trick of disabling the Audio Channel in System Devices using the Device Manager. If you do that the other audio devices will disappear. Never had a problem since I did that. They are in location PCI Bus 1, device 0 and PCI Bus 2, device 0.

Glad to help out. Not many know of that trick but after having the same problems you were having I disabled the PCI lanes and 'poof' everything that was bugging me to death was finally gone for good. 
Great thing to know. Thank you for sharing it! The fixes I used in the past have been as effective, but not every fix works in all circumstances.
