Is it only the gtx 460 that can do True HD and DTS MA? or does gtx 480 also support that now?

I can't even open up the control panel at all to enable SLI or even do any settings. Anybody else have this problem? Also I can't even enable 3D Vision with these at all either.

exact same issue im having ,it tells me i have SLI and to click to enable yadda yadda but i cant open the control panel via any method to do anything

I downloaded this driver last night.  It does list 470, 480 and 465.

Maybe you should redownload.

while it does list on Nvidia's site those models it does not in the Modes.txt File .The size matches @ 127mb ,already downloaded this driver 4 times same exact Modes.txt and same listings and same installation error of no Control Panel .Four times is enough verification .

i uninstalled ,also tried clean install (it never finishes on reboot ) I also tried Driver Sweeper in safe mode ,and personally deleted all PhysX and GPU Driver folders and entries

Hey bro, your first pic, shows two major errors
 
First, use Precision and RESET to defaults and uncheck "start with windows". Then fully close precision, and un-install it.
 
Second, you are attempting to run a Nvidia feature installer from inside the package. What you are doing by trying that, is EXACTLY what these new drivers is trying to PREVENT users from doing.
 
 
Nvidia released these new drivers and installer because of major problems, with users trying to install without proper permissions or installing single features incorrectly. You cannot treat these new drivers and installer that way.
 
Do not attempt to install these drivers with -any- 3rd party softs, monitoring or adjusting your videocard(s)
 
Do not attempt to use "old ways" of installing. They built the new installer to do it a certain way and with the correct permissions for all users, trying to bypass that will result in failure. 

It installed just fine problem was the nvcplui.exe process would not fully initialize ,it was found running in task manager and needed to be killed (ending the right click option to enable) and then rebooting brought back the option of Right clicking and it opening properly .FYI  Precision was off and has NO overclocks during installation and on reboot.That is a moot point .

Your posted pic clearly shows you have Precision running (with graphs) 
-->at the same tiime you tried running the nvcpl installer.
 
While you may have done that to only take the pic and show the example, it is very important that inexperianced and novice users dont get the impression that it can be done that way.

Not necessarily true, I always leave Afterburner, Everest, and/or Speedfan running when installing/uninstalling drivers, have never had a problem with this. Only thing is AB gives a no driver found error and closes right away, and Everest just comes up blank on temp readings, it has never affected the driver installation itself. But yes I agree that if your having problems installing/uninstalling, disable monitoring programs first before posting.  

Edit:  Awww, "Dynamic Tiling" is gone? Darn it, I was looking forward to playing around with that setting.

Yea, I installed with Precision on (by accident) and Precision went crazy till I closed and re-opened it.  The only issue I have had is that one time I got the SLI pop-up and NVIDIA Control Panel didn't open untill I rebooted and it was fine.  If this continues, I'll do the precision disabling stuff first then do a clean install of the drivers.

I'm sorry its postings like that, that destroy proper installs, can damage hardware or otherwise result in terrible problems for many people.
 
I'm glad it works for you and you dont "see" any problems. You are most welcome to do whatever works best on your system.
 
But what about other people? and the hardware THEY paid for?
 
If you cannot be bothered to READ, the programs listed (and others) -have- known issues and known conflicts.
 
Just because YOU dont have issues, does not mean there are none.
 
 
Come on guys, its time to think about other people and try and help them out. Not boast about how you can drive while sitting in the backseat.

Isnt it worth turning off a few programs for a couple on minutes before doing a driver install?

Dont listen to people who dont know what they are talking about. They are NOT using your hardware config and they really dont care about helping you fix your problems.
 
There are KNOWN issues running background programs while installing videocard drivers.
There are KNOWN issues running different programs (at the same time) that monitor videocard functions
 
Anyone who posts up differently, does not know what they are talking about
 
If you are having problems, try turning off all programs that monitor or adjust videocards
 
Precision, Afterburner, Everest, Speedfan, all desktop monitoring widgets...etc
 
Getting your videocard and drivers working correctly is the goal. Shuting down a few programs will not hurt anything and "could" solve problems and issues. Its certainly worth trying

Where are the 3D Vision drivers. I can't even use it at all. It says that I don't have the USB driver installed when I try the wizard.

See?  Thats what I'm talking about in my post above. 

Maybe he should have turned some stuff off first?

He either "forgot" to check the box to install the 3d drivers, or his driver install encountered a conflict.

Yeah, I expect Unwinder to have a update for these newer drivers.

Saving profiles should be fine, but I WOULD test and make SURE they are working properly. Dont forget about some of the past issues we have seen before on major driver changes and RIVA.
 
What works for some, might not work for different cards and configs.
 
Safe is better than sorry, test and be sure 

Previously when i kept precision or afterburner installed after removing drivers i got an error so it could cause issues.  Keeping profiles did not give an error.

Anyways enjoying these drivers thus far :P

What do you guys think about the "clean install" option when you're installing these drivers?
