On a side note my dad said 2004 F350 Super Duty with full take of fuel for sale SUPER cheap!  At least he has some humor about the situation...

I'm amazed anyone survived that crash, they obviously are living charmed lives! Best wishes and good thoughts for a speedy recovery for them. Wow man, still amazed they survived, Ford should be paying them to use that pic in a commercial about how safe their trucks are. Hey, maybe they can get their hospital tab covered, plus, plus... wishful thinking, but that would be cool 
Got some stuff in a plastic box that's makes my screen turn on when I push the button on the front, cool. I think it's aliens, but I'll have to confirm with voodoo do-er on that.

That's the first thing he said to me when he woke up.. "Man Darren, I screwed my truck up! Is your mom OK?" I was soo happy to hear his voice I cried... I'm man enough to admit that...

That should be a 38 gallon tank. Thats a lot of fuel containers to get. On the more serious side of things, I hope everyhting went well through the night and things are still looking better.

Things are looking good for my father.. He made it through the 8 hour surgery, got his breathing tube taken out this a.m., and is looking to get out of the Intensive Care Unit tomorrow! He ended up with 12 bolts, 2 rods, and 2 cadaver bones... He is talking well and moving all his fingers and toes!!!!! Mom is in a lot of pain still but, looks 120% better today! They are both in very high spirits!
Thanks for all the best wishes and prayers I know they all helped!

Glaad your folks survived and doing ok.
Just a quick note, not to flame and/or hijack the thread, but those claiming that if this accident had happened in a smaller car, the results would have been worse for the occupants should really do some research into just how terrible trucks are at protecting the occupants in accidents of all kinds, not just rollovers.

Very happy they are ok,thank his driving skills he was able to survive with the life of both of them .Ice is dangerous no other way to describe it.Ive seen a State trooper with 20+ years on the job with chains and the whole nine yards crash doing less the 30,and totally mangle his car as bad as your dads truck .No one is immune .Once the slide starts it just gets worse.Hope they recover soon. I'm free to chat if you feel the need sometime.
Stay strong ,chances are they are worried about you and handling this also.

Thanks everyone..! They are doing OK.. They were both moved to a Nursing & Rehab center closer to home yesterday. It will still be awhile before they can come home but, they are doing a lot better.. Dad is ready to be home.. Mom is still in quite a bit of pain.. I'll be staying with them probably 4-6 weeks once they get home because they will need help getting up in the morning, dressing, etc... Last few days I've been getting "trained" on how to lift them, put on dads neck collar, etc... Gonna be a long road but, at least I still have them both.. P.S. been giving my dad a lot of crap about wasting my Vacation time wiping his butt... He told me to keep it up and he'll make my life hell.. LOL
