Just received my GTX 1080 FTW from newegg today. Bought it yesterday & overnighted it. So thanks to FedEx for the fast shipment.
And here's my newbie unboxing video of it

Note: Looks like EVGA fixed the problem with the plastic cover and the screws thing.

    lol yes, sir

Looks like I didn't win the silicone lottery with 1080 FTW. Right out of the box, boost clock goes up to 1974 MHz. Tried to OC it (video coming soon...currently uploading on youtube) and core clock stable at +75 running Heaven benchmark with 1 pass...thus giving me 2025 MHz boost clock. Need to play around with the mem clock more.

    Looks good!

    Thanks
Haven't played around with the RGB LEDs. Need to install PrecisionX OC first. Wish I had the 2nd card with me now...BHP Video is so slow.

just got my 2nd card yesterday from BHP Video. 2nd card offers a bit higher boost clock than the 1st one from newegg. So I set that one as the main card now.
Both cards stable at +75 core and +500 mem.

    congrats!

got my 1070 FTW card today, I had a bit of trouble getting my old card out, it really didn't want to leave my Mobo at any cost, but a bit of gentle pulling, (detached the front USB case cable in the process lol (didn't realise until later but easy sorted) new card seated in real nice. not OC mine, I'm leaving it at stock speeds for now. but a sweet card.

Before I got the EVGA one, I was looking at getting the MSI 1070 gamer X version, but honestly, I'm glad I didn't now, I think that would have been too tall, and more of a pain top get in. Anyway, happy camper here, going to store my old card and keep it as a spare.

buy anyway, congrats to all for getting their cards, even if stock is pretty rare.

GTA. That is super depressing for so much coin and cannot hold a steady 60+fps constantly. WOW! Did not expect that honestly at 1440p. I could see 4k maybe.

some of the framerates are pretty bad though...looks like both cards are not used above 90% :(
Not sure if it's bottlenecked problem or what...I have a 5930k at 4.2 GHz.

Definitely not a bottleneck problem. The 5930k @ 4.2 should handle both card without issue.
